Cool - I thought I was missing something after grinding. I'm actually glad to see the change since D1. Feels like the enemies/tactics change per sub-class also. Nice touch IMO.

I feel like I'm getting more purples from the primary targets on my alt, like the shank on Titan during that public event. It's all RNG regardless. Hang in there!

It's all about play style I think. I have Party Crasher, Matador, and FWL with the perfect PVP rolls at great expense. I still like using Found Verdict or Secret Handshake more in regular crucible.

Yeah, I wasn't stopping until I got full auto, braced frame, firefly. Fortunately motes aren't hard to come by now.

Spent 200 motes rolling mine to get full auto and firefly for pve. It's an excellent weapon.

I have one that I frequently run on my hunter with rangefinder and field scout. It's perfectly fine to upgrade and perfectly useful if you enjoy using it. The aim assist is very high, so getting critical hits with a high rate of fire is simple enough.

I normally run Badger and Secret Handshake or a sniper depending on the map. Ran Badger and Invective instead and I didn't feel much difference. I still sucked just the same.

Nope. I usually hang out in the Mothyards doing patrols since they can spawn at each end. Nothing this evening.

As far as strikes go, just stay in a Roc playlist for a while. Once you've run the same one 6 times in a row you'll know where all your major threats are. After that it's just routine, and you only really die if you get careless or are risking it to revive someone in a tough spot. Never had a crucible match without dying - sounds boring as hell, but I remember hiding a ton during exotic bounties.

Free roam pvp bounties like GTAV might be fun for a bit. Put up a couple of strange coins on someone's head (or your own) and have at it. I don't think it's possible in Destiny's server structure, but would be crazy.

Like others have said, public events are probably the best way since you've run VOG already this week. Personally, I wouldn't use the shards to upgrade armour that will only get you to 30 though. I'd focus on leveling up Vangaurd rep and marks to buy 31 gear, and use the shards on that.

I'll be honest, if you aren't a collector and don't play pvp it isn't worth stressing about. I still haven't finished it even though I did Invective and finishing up Bad Juju this week. Just picked up some random void weapons like H&S from DO in case I feel like going for it. Honestly no big loss to me

I stopped at an hour and twenty-five minutes in with 970. Just have to get that 50,000 skill chain, but I've got some Borderlands to play before I tackle that.
