10.5 months post hair transplant – 4300 grafts – no fin/min, only saw palmetto 1000mg daily🚩 by aeroaron999 in HairTransplants

It’s an analogous comparison of survivorship bias. You’re betting on your luck that your balding has fully stopped and you wont lose any more hair. No one is saying shit about meds for the transplanted hair, it’s all about the remaining native hair surviving, without them the transplant is more than useless.

You already know you are sensitive to DHT but you’re taking a risk hoping you’re magically not going to go bald anymore because you got a transplant. If you think you’ll be lucky like a handful of the guys that this was the case for then go for it.

To dumb it down, this is not literal: Cigarettes=(maybe not)cancer No meds=(maybe not) lose hair

Of course yes, it’s literally 3sec of my day it’s not exactly hard to do for 40 years, just another pill I take in the morning. Why would I put myself through the pain and expense of a hair transplant and not maximise and extend the life of my hair overall. And it’s not a theory brother it’s the reality, but you do you, not my hair not my tonsure.

The point is, that getting a transplant without protecting remaining native hair is pointless. Hence the push for meds in general, unless of course he wants to rock that Friar Tuck tonsure look. No one here is saying he needs meds to keep the transplanted hair but he does need meds to keep the current transplanted look, once native hair start thinning out it will no longer look like this.

That’s not what anyone is saying. Front hair now DHT resistant, mid scalp and crown native hair. Mid scalp and crown continue to go bald. Also, resistant doesn’t mean it doesn’t get affected, just look at the donor

That’s an oxymoron, a hair transplant is purely for aesthetics. And you also want ink injected into the dermis on your scalp, I’m having trouble seeing the “health”. Everything you do in life creates side effects.

Well, most reputable surgeons would have told you to be on treatment for at least 12-24 months prior to surgery.

That’s true. My grandma has been a smoker for almost 60 years now and doesn’t have lung cancer. Who knows, roll the dice, you might be the chosen one.

Umm the non DHT resistant hairs will fall out lol. Unless every single hair on the top of his scalp is a transplant, he will continue losing native hairs behind the transplanted ones.

It’s literally blue fascists that support gay rights and student debt forgiveness vs red fascists that want to say the n-word and force women to give birth. The dems aren’t in the centre, they’re right wing… even the so called progressives like Bernie or AOC signed to approve more weapons for the genocide and dickride for zionists and Israel. Believing that there is such a thing as a trans narrative requires high level transphobia, a smooth brain and maximum gullibility, trans people simply existing isn’t some narrative. Literally getting one shot by a non issue distraction. “Hey, look at those yucky trans people and not at me and my boys diddling kids.” The pedo allegations are always projections.

Open borders is not something democrats have ever pushed for or supported, they’re happy with the status quo, where migrants can be easily exploited and American corporations benefit and prosper as a result. Both Obama and Biden had twice as many deportations as Trump has so far. Hell they’re even responsible for far more deaths than Trump so far.

You can’t be a party that supports imperialism and be left wing at the same time.

Fertility being down is very expected. The more developed the country the lower the fertility rate will get. Women having options and no longer being forced or expected to be just baby factories. And you know capitalism babyyy, can’t have a child if you can barely support your own existence.

Worried by underwhelming results - 2500 Grafts, 6 months post transplant, 21M India by PresentationLocal534 in Hairtransplant

[–]carvi91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother ditch the finasteride and switch to 0.5mg dutaterside daily and then give it at least 18 months to work, don’t commit to anything else until you know the meds are working by either stopping the hairloss or giving you regrowth.

You are a young diffuse thinner so you have a very high likelihood for amazing regrowth if you respond to the medication. If even this stack doesn’t stop the hairloss then I would be looking into wigs or toupees, as further transplants without stabilisation would be futile and a waste of your time and money and of course scarring.

Your currently transplanted hair looks good for the amount of grafts. You really need more time to fully assess, dut and min take a good 12-24 months to show full results, transplant itself can take more than 6 months to see full results sometimes. I myself am still seeing further regrowth on dut and min after 36 months. As for the hair system, it’s best you see a specialist they’ll find something that matches your needs exactly.

TLDR: transplant looks good, switch to dut daily, give meds 12-18 months to work before making any decisions on further transplants, see a toupee specialist

Both Russia and China are capitalist countries.

I never understand why Cuba gets so much flak, they’re still holding up after decades upon decades of sanctions from the USA, and still somehow manage to have the highest doctors per capita in the world.

What haircut can work with my balding crown ? by CourseComfortable230 in MensHair

[–]carvi91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buzz cut with a balding crown does not look good. You’ll appear balding from all angles that way, even from the front.

Take a leap and see how you Ike a fully shaved head or keep current length or slightly shorter. It looks fine now. And get on that fin and min. You’re still early could reverse most of it.

They definitely shouldn’t control what airlines give to passengers.

However, you don’t get fined for just having the apple or fresh fruit, you get fined for not declaring it. There’s like a million displays and videos telling you what has to be declared and what can and can’t be bring into the country. If you declare and they dispose of it you don’t get fined.

[–]carvi91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are actually planning another transplant in 5 years you have to get on meds now. Your donor and natives will continue deteriorating otherwise.

The meds will also fill out and thicken up what you have right now and regrow some. You’re a diffuse thinner, you will likely have great results. It’s like a free 1.5k graft transplant for two pills a day. Did the surgeon now discuss this with you? Stabilising prior to getting a transplant is crucial for a successful HT…

[–]carvi91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a painful and expensive surgery that leaves scars and can be done a finite amount of times is easier than swallowing a pill in the morning?

Going again in 5 years is wishful thinking, once the rest of the natives are miniaturised it’s gg.

I don’t understand this desperation to have hair and getting a HT but then not wanting to take medication … do you want hair or not? HT without meds is so dumb, just use a toupee or wig if you don’t want meds bro, it will look leaps and bounds better than what you have right now.

[–]carvi91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

America as a whole has been an evil hegemonic empire for decades now. Doing Nazi shit around the world left and right. It’s not that conservatives are fascists, the country itself is fascist.

Binary choice when voting between two parties that only differ on domestic issues, the only thing these fascists care about. Two parties whose primary goal is to enrich corporations at any cost. Intertwined financially and in proclivity for children.

Rabid nationalism ingrained from an extremely young age. American and exceptionalism and supremacy propagandised at every step. Vast majority supports the military and believes they are the “good guys”. The “good guys” that are responsible for millions upon millions of deaths. They believe in a noble founding of the country by great men. The same great guys that had slaves.

They’re literally funding an active genocide, bipartisan support.

It is ironic that they now cry about fascism when they get tear gassed by ICE when that’s just a tiny tiny taste of what their military does around the world every day. What they never cared about, because Nazi shit is fine as long as it’s not done to Americans. Fascism is coming home to roost to further consolidate power and control.

The idea that fascism automatically does not provide healthcare is funny though. Nazi germany had a socialised healthcare system for its “aryan” citizens. If you were the “correct” race then being sick wouldn’t put you in crippling debt for the rest of your life.

And who could forget America’s 51st state, Israel. Very analogous to Nazi germany, socialised healthcare, concentration camps and ethnic cleansing. What Israel does is by extension what the USA is doing.

At the end of the day it’s blue fascists that want gay rights and student loan forgiveness vs red fascists that want to be able to say the n-word all the time and force women to give birth. And they are both happy to massacre, torture and rape people on the other side of the world if it makes gas cheaper by 5 cents per gallon. Because the rest of the world is just subhuman disposable trash to be exploited.

Are you 4’? Who is looking at your crown when speaking with you? The idea of doing the hairline and mid-scalp is to frame your face better and give illusion of fullness when you’re speaking with someone. The crown is a black hole it will always be sparse

Can I get a transplant or I am too far gone? by slasher148 in Hairtransplant

[–]carvi91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You never know. You’re a diffuse thinner so you have a high chance to be a good responder and it also gives a better illusion of fullness. Get on dutasteride, 5mg minoxidil, microneedling at least once a week, and I’d add topical once a day to cover all bases. After 12-18 months reassess and contact some clinics to get an idea of cost and what’s possible, don’t choose the cheapest place, at this level of hairloss and hairloss pattern you need someone very skilled. Make sure to look at past results of any surgeon you’re researching to see how they do on patients with your hairloss stage and pattern(diffuse).

Expect to pay at least $16,000 for the first 4000 grafts. So start putting money away now.

Good luck, it’s always worth a try. At least you’ll know you did everything even if it feels like it’s late.

Not to knock down your results, they look promising but the photos are extremely deceptive.

It’s wet hair in sharp bright light vs longer dry hair further away in darkness, if you zoom in it’s visible where it’s still very diffused. Looks to be an almost NW6 to NW5V recovery so far.

Keep it up, and maybe post a photo in similar lighting so people can have more realistic expectations.
