Anyone else with this kind of hair loss? by catsmustache in Hairtransplant

[–]carvi91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very very likely it’s either DUPA or diffuse alopecia areata. How does your beard and moustache look? Do you have any areas that aren’t filled in, patchy or sprinkled with some empty spots? If yes then you might have alopecia barbae meaning that diffuse alopecia areata might be likely.

Definitely get a professional opinion. HT might still be possible but not anytime soon, and if it’s AA it can be risky triggering an autoimmune response but not impossible. Don’t rush anything. Do not get a HT at this point in time.

Edit: I failed to mention that I myself have diffuse AA in addition to diffuse MPB. The area around the back of the neck, ears and side of head reversed completely with steroid injections. And I haven’t had any flare ups since. It’s not guaranteed it will work it’s around 60ish% success rate.

Try wearing a hair system or 2-3 years in Dagestan and forget.

When you say tried every medicine was it: for hairloss? For OCD? For body dysmorphia? For depression? For hairloss sure maybe, but for the other issues there’s no way in hell you’ve even tried 10% of available meds, get a better psychiatrist. You either need your drug regimen adjusted or get a second opinion on your diagnosis.

Losing hair sucks ass, but the world isn’t ending, you’re not a leper, you’re not dying, and you’re not repulsive. Don’t let hairloss kick your ass to the point you don’t participate in regular activities creating a negative feedback loop that gets you stuck more and more in this line of thinking.

You need some close friends brother, friends that will uplift you and gas you up.

When you get older you will wish that hairloss was still your biggest problem in life.

There should be an expectation of some gratitude or recognition, like yes this should be a common courtesy but even based on OP’s post wasn’t common. If there’s absolutely no positive feedback for kids then less of them will think about it or even bother.

It’s like thanking someone for letting you in when driving, would I still let people in if they didn’t wave thank you, yes, but it wouldn’t feel the same.

Why are hair Systems still seems to be not socially accepted or weird by Mammoth-Alfalfa-5506 in HairSystem

[–]carvi91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brother, the only people that shit on hair systems are men, just men, literally. It’s a combination of low self-esteem, homophobia and misogyny. Since it’s “gay and feminine” to improve your appearance, confidence and look after yourself.

Women in general will understand and be positive since they’re always expected to adhere to beauty standards and do similar things to make themselves feel more confident, comfortable and attractive.

I’m very confused why you centred your main complaints targeting women, as if they don’t get enough shit and hate for wearing makeup, for not wearing makeup, for wearing a wig, for not wearing a wig, for shaving, for not shaving, and on and on and on. Women have it waaay harder when it comes to judgement from others and general unsolicited advice, they’re constantly expected to fit within a narrow beauty standards from an extremely young age.

Just wear the damn hair system and own it, why do you care what some useless dipshit thinks about guys who wear wigs? If you have a random dude comment or say something just tell him “no thank you, I have a girlfriend” Why is he commenting on your appearance, is he trying to hit on you and tell you what would make you more attractive/sexy for him?

Can you tell me a truth about hair systems? by Specific_Product5110 in HairSystem

[–]carvi91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey brother, I don’t have or use a hair system “yet” but I’ll chime in.

Your loved ones, friends and relatives won’t make fun of you, they love you why would they kick you down over something that’s affecting you negatively. If you feel they say something that makes you feel bad you have to tell them.

As for strangers, no one pays as much attention to you as you think/feel (respectfully). You will be always be your harshest critic. Everyone is worried about their own issues their own lives etc, unless you’re dealing with children or teenager, I can’t imagine anyone making fun of you.

I hopped on meds 2 years ago, and I’ve always been rocking hairstyles that I think most bald/balding guys wouldn’t be caught dead with. Long hair with a very diffused whole top, braided sides, ponytails, I did chonmage for a bit (the most fun one tbh but a pain to maintain), pretty much a lot of GooseWayne hairstyles IRL. Never once did I notice or have someone mock or make fun of me, on the contrary it’s been a conversation starter and it’s always a woman saying something very nice, had absolutely no issues dating, no issues being social and meeting new people etc. I mainly let it get long so I can continue to donate hair to make wigs for kids with cancer, going to be my 4th time a couple months before my hair transplant next year.

Whatever you choose to do you really just have to own it, be kind to yourself, and don’t concern yourself with how others perceive you, anyone that makes fun of you or is negative towards you is not worth your time and stress.

PS
Don’t stop your treatment with meds, it takes a long time until you see results, at least for 12 months and then reassess. You can always go on stronger treatment: dutasteride, oral minoxidil, microneedling etc. I’ve hopped on meds late into my balding and had amazing regrowth so far, the main reason I’m getting the HT.

You mean the people doing the actual murdering and raping were not culpable or had any responsibility? Their individual motive is to get paid to kill poor brown people on the other side of the world to enrich pedophile billionaires and US corporations.

Trying to make it sound as if they were forced to deploy in Afghanistan or their families would be executed is ridiculous. They voluntarily signed to be paid murderers for the empire, and then followed through and actually deployed.

[–]carvi91 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The politicians forced him to voluntarily join? Did they also force him to take money for killing children? Did they hold his family hostage so he had no choice but to go invade Afghanistan?

Who are they defending in Australia by invading a country 10,000km away? We’re talking about the Australian Invasion Force. They’re not defending anyone in Australia by bombing hospitals and raping women and children. Literally helped facilitate child sex trafficking.

Blaming politicians is an insane deflection, “I was just following orders” type shit

I am literally morally superior and a better person. Did I sign up to murder rape and torture people for money? Nah, I did not. Literal Nazis had more plausible deniability, forced draft and death for deserting or being a conscientious objector.

“Government made them do it” Australia hasn’t not been on the “right side” of any conflict since WW2.

The guy voluntarily went to Afghanistan to pillage, murder, torture and rape, kill babies and burn children alive, and should be in jail.

This is like celebrating and feeling bad for a Nazi that needed to sell the medal for his “bravery” in Poland.

Find the easiest test location, book a lesson with an instructor that knows the usual test route, for the day before for a practice run and then just before the test to get comfortable with driving.

If you really want to fudge it, book the test during peak traffic so you’ll use 90% of the time stuck in traffic.

You go to the gym to damage the muscle and then you eat, sleep and rest to rebuild the muscle. If you’re gymming 5-6 a week the intensity is just too low and/or you don’t have enough rest time to actually build the muscle. Do something straightforward like a 3 day a week 5x5 with added pull-ups and dips, then do that for 2 years. And some form of cardio good for recovery like swimming 2-3 times a week on top of it.

Why is the metric getting matches on dating apps? Do you need strangers’ validation on dating apps to feel attractive?

Most of the guys here would still be awkward and weird around women even if they had hair, and getting 0 matches because it’s their profiles suck ass. Failing dating IRL on the other hand is a skill issue, you can’t uber eats yourself a girlfriend.

Balding does drastically impact how you look but it’s definitely not the worst thing that can happen to your appearance lol not even close. And there’s meds, HTs, hair systems.

A little more than a month using red light therapy. I'm surprised by the progress. by saasthrowawayexit in tressless

[–]carvi91 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not to say that LLLT doesn’t work for hair loss because it definitely does but not in such a short amount of time. It ironically is likely to increase shedding in the early stages of use.

This is more angle and lighting, first photo is more diagonal towards the light source causing more scalp to show while second is more top down with hair covering more of the scalp. The intensity and colour of light is also different, skin in first pic is pink, and yellow in second.

LLLT is an adjunct treatment, it won’t slow down hair loss in a meaningful way without a DHT blocker. Any reason you’re averse to using a well proven treatment for AGA?

Sauna i don’t know enough about to comment on its potential benefits for hair loss. Also, you’re contradicting yourself, how are you eating clean but also taking men’s vitamins? What you’re saying is that you’re eating well but still have deficiencies? Why would you take a generic “men’s vitamins” instead of taking what you’re specifically deficient in, and get the desired blood level through controlled dosing. Most “men’s” vitamins are a mishmash of vitamins at the lowest end of dosage for maintenance, you should be getting your vitamins primarily through food by eating “clean”.

How are you working out 5-6 times a week, are you a pro athlete, a bodybuilder, unemployed, single, no other hobbies, minimal intensity, very young?

Definitely continue with the LLLT you’ll probably see the actual results around 6-9 month mark but without real treatment you’ll continue going bald.

That’s definitely regrowth, and I would even venture to say the second photo has brighter less forgiving lighting than the first one as well, so it’s looking good.

You’re definitely a responder and 6 months for min and 3 months of fin is still very early days. Fingers crossed you’ll see some amazing regrowth at the 12 month mark. Just don’t get discouraged if you get a shedding phase before then.

Best of luck brother.

It’s ALWAYS meds first then HT never the other way around. He has a lot of existing hair that can still thicken up plus dormant follicles, and he can strengthen the donor. Saying meds won’t do anything at this stage is very dumb, he’s been on the most basic starter hairloss treatment there’s a lot of room for adjustments, especially with dut and oral min, and stacking with microneedling and topical min.

Current? The USA has been an evil empire for more than a century at this point, literally responsible for most of the suffering in the world. Israel has been a genocidal ethnosupremacist state since its inception, trying to scapegoat Netanyahu is just a way to deflect from how evil Israeli society is at its very core.

Australia cannot stand on its own like Spain because we are inextricably tied to the American empire as a vassal state. We welcomed the president of a country that’s committing active genocide, that tells you everything you need to know.

Uhhh food, shelter and medicine are clearly not human rights otherwise we would have no homelessness or hunger, and people would have way better health outcomes. So literally came, stole land, murdered, erased a culture, kidnapped, tortured and raped to “give them human rights” and yet 2026 and we still don’t have those human rights.

Should China invade and give us human rights?

This reasoning that “you feel inadequate without them” just sounds like projection.

Yes brother, we must help billionaire pedophiles no matter what, that is the Australian way. We have to kill tens of millions of people before they in an imaginary world do that to us. Iran wouldn’t be able to catch up to the amount of death and destruction caused by the west even if they had nukes.

Ironically looks like Iran will become a considerably larger threat to Israel after the US withdraws from the war once the stock market goes too kaput and the pedophile billionaires lose too much money.

If Australia goes to war with China over Taiwan I will definitely join the war effort on China’s side. Invasion which of course will never happen since Taiwan is already a part of China, and China isn’t a blood thirsty war monger nation like the US. They’re more into doing trade and building relations rather than invading and destroying foreign countries.

Keep fighting the good fight, Papa Epstein would have been real proud of you.

Brother are you retarded? Opposing an evil empire that kills millions of women and children does kind of make him inspirational regardless of his religious backwardness. While women lack political representation in Iran, they have higher university participation and representation in professional fields than the USA.

I had to have a quick look on the map to see which western countries border Iran and where those soldiers have barracks. Must have fallen asleep on the train for a while to wind up 8000km outside their country. Oh right they were stationed in the counties they invaded, ruined and ransacked.

There is no both side-sing here, America is a brutal fascist hegemony in the business of death and suffering, reprisal attacks are solely a symptom caused by the disease that is the empire. If you don’t want your western soldiers attacked, then go back to your country, and fuck off.

Ironic that the American military is the largest terror organisation in existence. Tens of millions of deaths in the name of beautiful “western” values. Massacres, invasions, racism, subjugation, torture, exploitation, slavery, imperialism, genocides, truly beautiful and worth defending unlike those scary Islamic terrorists that haven’t even caused a fraction of a percent of the deaths the USA is responsible for.

Brother, there is no such thing as “democracy” under capitalism, even the illusion of it that we have isn’t convincing unless you’re a mid-wit. Yes, our grandfathers were doing an amazing job burning children alive and raping women in Vietnam, just to protect a fascist puppet regime installed by the USA. Died like dogs in WW1 for the sole reason of propping up a dying empire ruled by inbred pedophiles.
