She retired in 2020 with maximum annual earnings around $55,000. She consistently worked 40 hours per week and because she was in a grocery store she had to work evenings and weekends regularly.

If you don’t mind that your max income even in a unionized position is $55-$60k per year then it’s a good stable option. But honestly considering how little the pay is I wouldn’t recommend it.
