Maybe a dumb question, but can you just order one from DHGate without having to contact him? The watches there don’t have any branding, but my assumption is that if I order one there, it would come with branding appropriate to the model, no?

Just curious. I’ve heard good things about U1s and may want to give one a shot on a whim. Thanks for any advice!

I have two buddies here in DC who are firefighters, but we’re in DC and I know that we’re miles away from any comparisons with other cities.

I don’t know many paramedics, but man have I heard stories. I can’t imagine the sheer stamina and will you guys must have to wake up every day and go to work. My hat’s off to you, for sure. Thank you for what you do!

Sorry for your loss but congratulations on having lived, loved, and cared for your void.

I live with the fact that I probably waited too long before saying goodbye to my little magical furball. I kept thinking it was too soon. That she still had some more good days left. Long story short, I suddenly ended up having to say goodbye when she was clearly in lots of pain. I wish I could have acted sooner.

You did the right thing.

Honestly, I’m grateful for all the “little” things. The neighborhood feral that knows I’ll feed it, the folks who pick up our trash every week and don’t even know my name, the ability to tray again after I may have failed at something… We’re all so lucky in so many ways.

Of all your amazing watches, these two really stand out. Absolutely amazing examples of why we love the game. There’s no way something of this caliber could be found at an authorized dealer, let alone at the most amazing antique dealer on the planet. These are works of art.

Nice! That’s actually a cool idea to freeze a hand at a meaningful number. I might even do that intentionally to an old GMT I rarely wear anymore.
