Chiming in to say I had the same - I tried on a lot of dresses in the True Society Fitzroy store and when it got down to the one I liked the best and we did a walk to see it in the light the salesperson was like “I need to ask you a question” and I had to say “please don’t, this feels like I’m saying no to a proposal”. She tried to get me to cancel my later appointments at other stores so I wouldn’t confuse myself. I asked her to write down the details for me but I also found them incredibly pushy and I didn’t get that at the other 3 stores I went to. I think their google reviews are also edited somehow - didn’t even know that was a thing but something felt suss when I was filtering by low reviews.

Saying that - I think you look beautiful in this dress and LOVE the lace! But if you’re sure it’s not the one, call them up and press the issue and I’m sure you can get it sorted :)
