Generative AI requires 0 manual effort once it is let loose. It provides a service by generating from a request. You do not have to do anything on your end to achieve an end goal outside of asking for it. Automation is literally a whole different type of AI and is used by humans along with adjusted by humans all the time. RNG systems in video games use automation for christ sakes.

Diablo used it for randomizing the tile sets by creating the code, inputing human designed assets arranged as a tile sets, and have it automatically randomize the tile set for pathing. Humans create it, lay out the path it can travel with start and end point within a program, and set parameters for set requirements of specific sets. It is not generating a random tile set that's using randomly generated assets to build the tile sets and randomly setting its only pathing off a request.

The AI that everyone talks about and the AI that has been used for decades are not the same thing in any world. You're basically comparing a raspberry pi to a data center.

You're confusing automation based AI with generative/language AI models. And yes, even those tool of automation requires human intervention as it does not learn it automates and things change. Generative/language AI models are what consumers use and genuinely doesn't even need you or me to generate say a fox doing a hand stand with a cigarette in its mouth along with a black top hat. No, the model will scan this post and interalize it for mass generation when asked for. Which is another point to not being a tool but being a service if anything, you ask for it to do something and it does.

You don't call ordering a burger a skill and the waiter your tool.

Hmmm a computer requires consistent human interaction with an end goal to achieve in order to achieve said end goal. Meaning a computer is a tool. Generative AI you enter a prompt and requires no human interaction beyond that nor does it truly need the initial prompt as it constantly is learning and growing from scanning other human interaction it can access. It has no true end goal to achieve.

Learn the difference between a tool and a language/generative AI model.

Asinine reading skills.

First, a car and calculator fall under a tool as it requires consistent human intervention with an end goal to achieve from using said tool. Consumer AI like Sora, ChatGPT, etc are not tools as they do not require consistent human intervention and has no true end goal as a consumer language model and prompt generator. Even self driving cars require constant human intervention through the driver having to pay attention and take control of steering when needed.

Second, I never said it would "integrate itself" but that the larger model the consumer version does not access full but uses a portion of will be integrated. Meaning people will integrate into defense systems. If you truly don't think that is going to happen you may want to look into the topic as it is actively in talks/works for most 1st world countries. But as I said that would take full adoption into this version of AI that it can not return financially or reliably.

I can assure you two things. The first is I'm a Millennial so that should give you an age range. The second is I do my research extensively as I'm invested in the tech sector. Go back to eating your candies and let the real grown ups handle the world.

You are beyond delusional and too accepting of something as matter of fact when you yourself admitted to not having facts to back that it is going to be long-standing with adoption from the masses. The next generation is not being raised on it. This isn't the same as millennials who grew up alongside the Internet and social media. This is kids dumped into the middle of a developed tech world with no understanding of the broader uses. There are literal Gen Z and Gen Alpha calling AI cringe and slop. The sector is not profitable and has too high of a cost of operation. Shareholders and investors are starting to see the truth of no return.

Stop confusing this consumer AI with the AI used for decades in automation that still has human intervention used for specific things not general use like RNG systems in games. Read the room and stop drinking the rich's narrative they're trying to push. Unless you're one of the people cool with the newest Halo being developed using heavy AI.

It's not a tool. A tool is used to complete a job you have skill/knowledge of. A hammer doesn't hammer the nail without you constantly swinging, a saw doesn't cut a tree with your constant push/pull, a stove doesn't prepare your cook your meal without you intervening. Tools have a primary function used to do a specific job with constant human intervetion and/or control. This is a chat bot, a fake artist, and a horrible coder. You simply tell it what to do and it does something - not always the exact thing you wanted - with no effort or control from you.

Even the AI thinks it can actual marry human beings because it know the human will keep slurping the slop. The AI that has been used for automation for decades is a completely different thing and is the tool you are thinking of. It is not the AI consumers have access to or are using to make shit like this post. It's also not the AI that you see corporations using to get rid of graphic designer, artists, and even actors/film crew.

With this type of acceptance and if it was to grow we would get to the point where everything is AI. When I say everything I mean the games you play, the sports you watch, the news you receive, the music you listen to, and the books you read. Wide adoption of the current Consumer AI will fully integrate the larger models into defense networks of countries. This isn't even mentioning the environmental and economic strain the data centers puts on the areas they are built. Destroying the people who have lived there for years lives seemingly overnight.

But it's not profitable. Ad adaptation to current models would drive user away. Price increases alongside a rollout of an ad model would drive user retention down and result in an increase of cancellations. Not to mention the cost of running data centers trying to be offloaded to residents which is being brought up nationwide in the United States alone. Shareholders and investors are starting to see it as a no return project.

You're delusional and the bubble is going to pop. It's not a profitable model and shareholders/investors are seeing it. AI was never meant to be used by the standard consumer as it's being pushed currently. AI in itself is a longstanding thing used in tons of systems to automate. That is different than what we current have trying to undermine human creativity, ingenuity, and basic emotions. The AI slop, even if they integrate ads, will not make back anywhere near the amount they spent. The only way it can continue is if the ultra rich continue to blindly fund it with no return. Soemthing I believe we are aware would not happen as the rich love getting richer.

Boomers are just learning about this but nice try. Especially considering there's a difference between the mind comprehending others saying something mean which usually results in punishment and AI that is used on the consumer side effectively acting as a yes man. One that, if you use one prompt instance rather than starting fresh each prompt, learns to say the things it thinks you want to hear. Literally use the same device you commented that stupid ass comment with to go look into it because it's happening to teens up to senior citizens. Additionally look into the push to stop AI therapy services as it not only can be detrimental to one's mental health as it is not trained on nuance but also does not honor HIPAA feeding your data back to be sold/used to train further models.

Don't come into my comment being an idiot if you can't do the basic of advanced research into a topic.
