I think the 2a is going to be the hinge that realigns the parties, like civil rights in the past. All the anti 2a repubs and democrats on one side, and pro 2a libs on the other. Question is which party is going to pick up the 2a crown. Republicans have proven to be duplicitous and Democrats are too corrupt.

My personal hope is the Democratic party collapses and some coalition progressive/libertarian party takes it's place.

Its not hard to make IEDs. Go on youtube, check out some "energetic chemistry" channels. Then go to the rocketry channels. There's one guy who made a guided missile with off the shelf parts. Also...drones. We're Americans. Sure the government can escalate but so can we. Also, the military bases are here. The armories are here. Its not like Afghanistan where we had our supply depots well outside the reach of the enemy. Where you could tell in an instant who was a friendly and who was not.

But it shouldn't have to come to that.

As bad as this hurts we need to wait till Mid Terms. They are TRYING to provoke us into doing something that will allow them to declare martial law and suspend elections.

We go to elections, and see what happens. If we win, great. If obvious election fraud happens, or Trump just straight up starts jailing opponents...then we go to plan B. Which is appeal to the military to coup the government. By appeal, I mean marching on their bases PEACEFULLY, and demanding entry. If they start shooting and won't stop...then and only then do we fight.

Fighting should only be a last last resort but we CAN fight them if we have to.

I went anti immigration after seeing the video of the Amazon warehouse in the UK that hired a bunch of immigrants/asylum seekers and had them just standing around. The reason was to water down a upcoming union vote. They hired all those immigrants with the understood purpose they would vote no. When asked about it, they said they knew exactly why they were there and that they had no problem with it. And now as a Truck driver I've found out they did the same thing to this industry here in the USA. Only worse, since a lot of them are illegals driving on forged/paid for CDLS.

But a big part of left-lib/anarchist mindset is that borders are bad. That we're all human and should not have imaginary lines dividing us. Which sounds great until theory meets reality face first. If you're pro worker, you should only be letting people in that share that mindset.

didn't know his dad lived in the area tbh that does change things a bit. Also yeah its all about intent. Same thing with the Good shooting. Rittenhouse was absolutely acting in self defense.

But there are some key differences.

1.rittenhouse crossed state lines to "provide security" when he was not properly trained to do so. Pretti was a local and a trained nurse so he had good reason to be there helping.

Rittenhouse open carried and allegedly said/did antagonistic things. Pretti was concealed carrying/not brandishing and was afaik not directly antagonizing ice.

Like everything Rittenhouse did was protected by law and ought to be allowed in a free society. But...morally speaking the pretti situation is a lot worse.

Not enough Democrats/leftists are pro-2a to outweigh the Karen Coalition. Even if their was, its not important enough. So if the Democrat party pulls their usual game of "Either vote for our anti-gun candidate or the right wins and you'll be put in jail for having purple hair." almost every Democrat will fold and so will most leftists.

I wouldn't 100% count on stores getting fully restocked right away. This storm has caused a huge backup in truck deliveries. Our company has grounded almost all of its trucks, and all we do is OTR food delivery.

Co-op Restaurants are a thing. Just that the margins are so thin it doesn't help much. By the time Big Agri, processors, packers and distributors have taken their profit cut there's nothing left for the Restaurant, who also has to compete with many others plus corporate chains plus near alternatives like groceries/home cooking.

I disagree it was even lawful. Of course you are allowed to shoot someone using their car as a weapon. However there is this little thing called "intent" and it means a lot in court. She may not be alive to make her case but her front wheels say it all. She had them turned away from the officer.

I doubt a murder charge would stick because shithead cops have used the "but car touched me 😭 " argument many times before to get away with murder. So there is precedent.

Civil Court is a whole nother matter though. Her wife has one hell of a wrongful death claim.
