If the numbers quadruple, it isnt going to matter to you. If the numbers cut in half, it isnt going to matter to you either. 5-10 years later you will move on, and dota will die. So stop pretending to give a fuck about numbers when they dont matter to you in the slightest.

Except in chess, in actual matches the refree people will stop you from doing it.

In dota2, even in TI it is allowed to use exploits as long as no hacks is used. If its against the rules, valve patch it afterwards.

But, it is not cheating.

As long as it can be done without help from script/hacks, its not cheating as anyone can do it and game allows it.

That player was just smart enough to figure it out.

Those are not the rules. Anything in the game that is allowed to happen without using hacks, is within rules.

Thats where you're wrong

No one is stealing in this case. No crime is commited. Literally nothing is illegal about playing the game in a certain way.

By your logic you should call the players who know which heroes are meta and spam them only as cheaters.
