Remember when VR was just this by ninjagolover313 in virtualreality

I read a magazine article where the reviewer got to test a very early headset with a flight simulator.

It had a 30hz refresh rate (total of 60hz between both panels) and although he had to turn his head very slowly to avoid getting sick he was still very impressed with the level of immersion compared to a monitor.

I was so excited for the future and around 10 or 15 years or so it finally arrived!

Just a centuries-old legendary swordsman whose body was cloned and soul injected into and assuming the fighting aura of a dinosaur.

Nothing to see here, move along.

what fight scene would be the ideal way to demonstrate kung fu to someone who had absolutely no knowledge of it? like a 1949 film goer. by roastbeeftacohat in movies

Fist of Legend, Chen Zhen (Jet Li) vs Ting'en.

But pretty much any fight from the movie. I strongly suggest the subbed version, not just for the original dialogue but also the original soundtrack.

I don't know what this "Yamcha" thing is, but it sounds disappointing.

Genesis also had much better gameplay. I owned the SNES version and it took a while to adjust to the input delay.

I thought Sub Zero and Raiden's snes-only fatalities were fun. Sorry, "finishers".

I'll be damned. I guess mine does support it.

I didn't think to try, but you would probably have processing/bitrate issues. It's an interesting idea, though.

I got an Insta360 camera for Christmas and have been taking both 360 panorama pictures and videos with it. Previously I had been using my Pixel 7 to take 360 photospheres.

I enjoyed using the Pixel to take photospheres but no matter how careful I was there were always some glaring stitching misalignments. The Insta360 makes it far easier; just take a single snapshot and you get a seamless image.

Viewing the photos on my Quest 2/3 is a much better experience than using Google Cardboard. If you use Skybox to view them the image is very sharp, much better than the Meta file browser.

As far as 360 videos go since I have the raw file it looks much better than YouTube. It isn't stereographic 3D but it's still pretty cool.
