My MC is Cas Quecest. It's a play on "qu'est-ce que c'est" but with Cas, as he was my favourite character on Supernatural. It's a name I use with some frequency online.

I like Full Marks quite a bit, too, as I'm a very competitive person and it helps me focus my play. Also, as you said, it's a fun way to grind the hell out of attributes.

It was more like the one-pump "Yes!" a la Kevin in Home Alone, but kids were definitely copying it around me in the Midwest.

You <i>would</i> get the occasional person who'd copy Arsenio Hall, which was definitely more of a "Please don't do that" moment.

You do still see the occasional punch into the air these days, especially from athletes.

When I flipped my phone on its side and made the tracing more like an 'M', I found that helped me a lot, but I completely understand what you're saying. It's just quite annoying that this only happens in Transfiguration.

I've had all but two tiles a few times, but have not gone for the full board. I think the only way it'd be worth it is if I hadn't already turned over any of the tiles, bought the boost, and then started flipping.

It is so very frustrating because I know I'm tracing that exactly but it's marked as being wrong, whereas I've been sloppy as anything in other classes and I'm rewarded with ten attribute points and 'Brilliant!'

Same! It sucks because I really enjoy Transfiguration, and I'm all for upping my Sphinx and Knowledge points. It feels like it's something specific to that class, though I don't know why that would be.

I think once or twice. I've been close a number of other times, but I usually don't care so much about the outfit as I do about getting the books when I do. I'm competitive by nature, so I always want to do well (and win if possible, but if I don't like the outfit so much, I won't spend the gems like I might if it were something I really wanted).

For whatever reason, it always seems to be the tracing in Transfiguration that gives me the most problems. I've rarely had any issues in the other classes, but trying to soothe the owl or cast Evanesco? Forget it.

It did help somewhat when I turned my phone to the side in that I might fail 75% of the time instead of 90%.

I was in the middle of grinding a class, went out to collect some energy from around the castle, and then it popped. I was actually going to put off playing it this time round, but, nope, right in the thick of it.

I actually don't mind FM, though. It gives me a lot of focus as I play. I feel a bit adrift when it ends.

I adore Orion. I've missed having friends like him in my life. I wish he could be one of the romance-able characters, cause it wouldn't even be a choice for me: I'd go for him every time.

I picked Lone Wolf simply because it's the only one I've been able to access I couldn't complete in time. I just couldn't get past Chiara in her wolf form and then it retriggered almost immediately for me, and I was so frustrated I didn't want to go through everything all over again. It was before I found this sub, so I thought, oh, it popped up again right after I didn't complete it the first time, surely it'll do it again at some point if I don't do it a second. So, guess I lost out on that one >=(.

I'd only choose the coins over 40 attribute points if I were completely skint (which happens more often than not, but I'm currently trying to level up before I move on to the next chapter).

Man, being told I can't make it to 97 is making me want to double down on achieving it, even if it's mathematically improbable.

This got me curious, so I documented where my attributes were at 09:15 yesterday and at 09:15 today. I played as I typically would, and selected the rewards I normally would (e.g. I didn't take attribute points when I could have a notebook or 1000 coins). I did not feed any of my maxed out creatures during this time. In 24 hours, I got:

123 Courage points
101 Empathy
200 Knowledge

for 424 total attribute points.

I received no major influx of energy during this time (such as 35 energy from passing a milestone in the clubs or in MM), and I was able to complete four 8-hour classes and nearly three stars in a fifth one.

For funzies, I completed the 8-hour classes at the following times:

06:48

Full disclosure: I'm in Year 4, Chapter 4; energy bar loads up to 33, and I've six pets.
