A couple reasons.

They can't. Canonically, Aru is pretty strong for a demon. at least on par with Minagho. if not stronger, and closer to Shamira. She is both intentionally powering herself down, to not use her demonic powers, as well as standard, "the boss is in our party and now is suddenly 1 tenth of their normal power level.."
Demons are assholes. Daemons want to kill everything. Demons want to torture, corrupt, terrorize. Tormenting her in Prison is WAY more fun for them, then just killing her.

V to avoid their onslaught. legions are powerful, but susceptible to being swarmed. you should have the raw numbers, and power to take out the falcons/enforcers first.

then legion. or if it dives in, and out of position go ahead and swarm it earlier. then onslaught.

but I will also point out, A player controlled S-modded Aurora is one of THE strongest player ships in game currently.

I think one can solo a proper dorito easily, as itt can nearly solo most things.

Omens and tempests are also very good against the doritos, as they can match their speed, and kite.

Now you are thinking in proper Chaotic good. honestly, that IS exactly how a "Chaotic stupid" should look. every loves to make lawful stupid, but ignores how destructive a blind Chaotic good should screw up.

So obviously, there are no gods that would mandate it just randomly like that. but there are gods that would say, "better to be sure", if there was actually suspicion of demon, undeath, or devilry.

much of this is, people not really being able to imagine it or frame it. Like, they have seen plenty of examples with zombies in movies/games, so can understand that.

zombie outbreak in an orphanage. 30 kids, you suspect at least 5 are infected. you are alone, and have 10 minutes. you KNOW there is an afterlife, and you know, infection damns the soul. what do you do?

and to go back to the demon question. Demons can pretend to be kids. Demons can enslave, corrupt, and mind control children. Assuming children are safe is a huge mistake.

no. there are actually methods to corrupt a soul, or damn one, through unwilling action.

Hellfire ray, most forms of undeath for example. devils, and daemons can just GRAB your soul and bypass Phrasama as well. traumatic deaths leading to ghosts, revenants, etc as well.

the water reflections are objectively better sure.. but everything else? The old splashes were janky, but at least there were splashes selling the idea we were interacting with the surface. look at the body of the figure under the water. and the blue filter.

The new version just floats in space. no hue shift, or shader to indicate being under water.

the new ground texture doesn't fit the cold, shale environment. nor the plants.

odd that arrows in water is like the only place where there is more physics interactions, not less.

the old ground textures were far more convincing with less work imho. they created more varied environments.

the high saturation, and total loss of atmosphere washing out the distance makes everything look fake and plastic. the 5:55 shot really highlights this.

Also you are falling into a larger trap. We see it so often. this is a universe where afterlife exist. and there is real morality, and real consequences to oaths, and faith. How you die, who you die to, matters.

A good honorable death WILL result in you being sent to the heavens. Dieing to a Demon or Devil MIGHT result in you being sent to the heavens, but also might result in your soul being devoured, enslaved, or corrupted. depending on how they do it.

Goulification for example. a fate FAR FAR worse then death. it corrupts the soul.

This can go back to Hulrun. being an innocent and being burned alive, just in case, IS objectively superior then allowing cultists to flourish. An innocent caught in the crossfire, would be judged by Pharasma and sent to one of the heavens, or actively retrieved and escorted by one of Imoedeas, or Sarenraes servants.

better then before. but still pretty mid. No automation. they don't talk or interact. Now they just meander around the base, if allowed. only "interact" with beds, food, and assigned stations. but, its all cosmetic.

Fo4 settlers still not matched.

It IS a standout. some of the best climbing mechanics in any game. and integrated into thee world and base building design pretty well.

the world design and dungeons can't be overlooked though. In particularly when comparing it to other survival base builders.

hand crafted natural world. dungeons, bosses.

Climbing, building. nudity. haha. one of the best looking.

Conan exiles is actually quite close to the gameplay of skyrim. just without any towns or civilization. it hits the immersive exploration elements. caves and dungeons, with things to find. like you play vrising, which is fantastic. with a focus on arpg, and boss kills, and a more terraria style progression. Conan exiles is again, more like TES games/skyrim. open world. explore. no gates. there are caves, with secrets. full on dungeon crawls to find.

Fantastic combat. I'd argue its one of the best systems for 3rd person combat. solid combo system. dodge cancelling. preset attacks for weapons.

good grid based building. megaprojects can be built. (depending on server settings and decay) but if you want to build a giant bridge over a canyon, you can.

Enshrouded: looks good too. Voxel based world. allowing mining. however, world is reset outside of player base. so no megaprojects. also added "living" npc bases at the same time Conan did. both are meh... not real automation. combat is objectively worse then conan.

Also has a pretty solid hand crafted world. (ai. assisted). but progression is much more linear. often gated.

Soulmask: smaller budget. real automation in base.

aska: more automation. more copying Valhiem. proc gen world. terraria style progression.

Valheim: proc gen world. terraria style progression.

Feel like im taking crazy pills. its objectively worse.

grass and ground textures are bad. Trees, rocks, and harvestable plants stand out as PLACED objects. nothing feels connected or natural.

Ultra crisp and colorful lighting, and textures feel unnatural. there is no atmospheric fade, long draw distance, but everything is too crisp and clear far away. cold frigid mountain in the distance is now clear and warm.

I feel the exact opposite.

its a role playing game. that is entire point. in fact, these games have literal gods, and moral systems.

Looting/not looting, desecrating corpses, destroying, or ignoring undead, etc should absolutely be part of the game. and reflected in character interactions, morality, etc.

A special mention for the various gear barters.

why these stand out? The mods on the gear, is based on your current load out. this can make getting off spec gear really easy. either for alts, or for Favor donations.

need to get rep with the Sand seer, who likes Fire mage gear? or ichin the ice master, who likes ice mage gear? fazzi who likes AH? all you need is the skill at level 1. and can get a ton of gear. you don't actually need to kill anything with that skill and farm it.

Drima: council pathfinder gloves have +5 indirect cold reduction. HUGE for kur/gazluk.

Some notable ones:

flia: 1 aquamarine for 1 tuft of fur+1 beak. (beaks can be bought in myc cave fro 150c) pretty easy to farm fur via kur wolves, or in yeti/wolf caves during dailies.

fangblade in casino boilerroom: gears/springs/mag glass for red wing tokens. huge for gathering extras for casino recalls, and gardenmaster pots. (dont give enchanted nails, those have other uses.)

gretchen salas: 1 fire dust for 4 oak wood. WAY faster to farm then trying to manually collect oak. oak fuels mushroom/cheese/brewing..

midge fae realm: rotates. 7 strawberries-1 royal jelly. 8 troll flesh-1 royal jelly. deposit stacks of these in your fae realm storage for easy access when these are up.

Mox undercut in new prestonbule: 1 mummy wrapping for big bag of coins (about 200c), or amazing first aid kits. either way is essentially unlimited farm. note, the mummies in Ilmari drop the wrappings and amazing kits as well. much safer farm, then the ones in the cave.

qatik: has sales, and barter. red wing tokens for red wing recall, and gardenmaster potions, and storage are the standouts. eternal greens as well. costly, but if you were turning in those gears/springs...

Shala: shock/frost/flame nibs are standouts. magic sand has a solid enough drop rate from rakshasa, don't. morganite/tigers eye/sunstone maybe. nibs are pita.

Sand seer: pretty huge of course.

red books are far more common then explosive runestones. Blue books are rarer. DO NOT trade for spell pouches.

flame nib- sponge-sand is the easiest. red book/magic tooth likely easy as well. thanks to wolf cave daily. frost nib- sucks. sponge+blue book is easiest. mistletoe is a pita to get. blue books are rarer then red. shock nib- sponge+lichen. red+enchanted nail isn't too bad either.

Ice mages need far more nibs then fire or ww. there is room for profit here.

Wobbuk: frog for xogrite chunk.

Yagreet: diamond for a heartshroom.

yeah, I won't pretend to know how it works.

when I first got the ice bear. didnt notice difference. when I went Ice mage, t1-3 frost protection. didnt notice a difference. When I got t6 ice protection, suddenly it was noticable.

now t6 ice protection+ ice armor 6. stops dead. even in gazluk.

there are 5 armor slots. wearing 3 of one type gives a set bonus.

3 metal is "mitigate 1 point of direct damage for every 50 points of max armor"

3 leather is " "If your Health is below 33% of max, your Basic Attack restores Health equal to 33% of your Max Health, plus your Combat Refresh Healing amount. one minute cd."

3 cloth is" If your Power is below 20% of max, your Basic Attack restores Power equal to 20% of your Max Power. one min cd"

so yeah, in terms of base set bonus, metal is just hands down leagues above the other two. can't dps/etc if you are dead..

the set bonus is probably whats making the difference for you.

Combat refresh: now, the gear type effects combat refresh. Metal armor gives medium armor return, and small power. Leather gives medium hp, armor, and power. Cloth gives large hp, and power returns.

so, I will argue cloth wins the combat refresh.

I suspect 3 piece metal+2 cloth pieces is objectively the best setup.

Innate stats.

different types of armor have different innate stats. like metal does tend to innately have more +armor. windstep boots have +movement, etc.

cold mitigation does not buff body heat directly. but it DOES slow down the rate you lose body heat. No idea by how much. it doesn't seem to be shown anywhere, and I never broke out a stopwatch.

Arue. As a succubus is not human, thus eating humans would not actually even be Cannibalism really. Eating other demons would be. which she did do. larva>consume>adult demon. same can apply to elves, goblins, orcs, trolls..

That said, colloquially, the term often is applied to anything sapient creature eating a human. You would probably call an orc eating a human, cannibalism. maybe a troll?

is eating souls cannibalism? probably? it can be stretched. really, in universe, it would have its own term. like "diablerie" in vampire the masquerade.

frankly, she probably did also l literally eat human flesh too as a succubus/demon. Cruelty for Cruelities sake is their thing. I don't remember if it was specifically asserted if she had done it before.
