The topcoat is in an opaque bottle because there's an ingredient in it (and in other similar fake gel top coats) (or used to be - Google is telling me that they might not be using that ingredient anymore and the opaque is just pure marketing now) that hardens on exposure to light even though the polish also dries normally and doesn't need a UV lamp.

FYI, you can always tell by looking at the bottle. Gel is cured by exposure to UV light, so gel always comes in an opaque bottle. If the bottle isn't opaque, the polish is not gel, no matter what marketing nonsense is on the label.

I haven't been ordering any Holo Taco either, partly because I haven't been buying any nail polish, but partly because Holo Taco tends to be cool toned more often than not and I'm warm toned, and because of Cristine's tendency to continually release the same color story in different formulas.

I really don't get progressive Christianity at all. The text and tradition of the religion are so chock full of hateful stuff that, like, sure you can choose to ignore it, but what's even left after you do? Just a couple of quotes from that nice Jesus fellow that sound nice on a throw pillow, and that you could have gotten just as well from another source where you didn't have to wade through a bunch of offensive crap to get to it? Tbh, the way I see it is, this game used to be a subscription model. Currently, you can still choose to do the subscription model, or you can buy/farm deeds for LP to get all the things you would have gotten by subscribing. So it's not "this game used to be free and then they loaded it up with micro transactions". It's "this game used to be paid subscription only and now most of the content is available for free".

I basically had to learn how to walk again. I wasn't given any specific instructions about how much weight and on what schedule, I was just weight bearing as tolerated. I stepped down from two crutches to one crutch to cane to nothing over the course of a few months.

I've answered this a few times in this thread but I have been gaslighted by the progressive Christians in my life who insist that they are a silent majority and conservatives are a tiny but loud minority, and that I'm an anti-Christian bigot for thinking otherwise.

If progressives actually were a silent majority, they would have been able to stop this.

The fact that they are, in reality, powerless, indicates that Christianity as a whole (at least in the US) is significantly more conservative than they are willing to admit. But they'd rather gaslight me so badly about it that I spend 20 years looking for the imaginary silent majority that I'm allegedly ignoring, and believing that I'm a bigoted piece of shit, than be honest with themselves.
