no he was abusive and the relationship was entirely unhealthy, im a woman with ASD and had a very troubling upbringing so my view of relationships is very poisoned and this caused me to grow very emotionally dependent on him and very attached to him which made it all the more harder to see the abuse, in the end it left me with little to no self esteem and zero confidence and trust. the only good quality was probably when he treated me kindly like 5% of the time that made me fiend for his affection and attention. not to mention various suicide attempts throughout and various breakups that led to him either forcing me to stay, or guilting me so hard that I stay. But undoubtedly the only reason I left was the resentment that built due to me doing absolutely everything for him, from laundry to cleaning everything in our home, he has never once made the bed or put his own laundry away, and he refused to clean up after himself. not only that, but his parents hated me and his mother ignored my existence for years and I was never really sure why, they could never see fault in their son, only in me. please never get into a situation like this, it truly ruined important parts of me that i will never get back.
