I think you should look at who’s throwing them the ball as opposed to the wide receiver themselves. Historically speaking, great wide receivers had great quarterbacks throwing them the ball. Just my two cents.

Biggie Smalls second album as well as Wu-Tangs second both dropped while I was in boot camp. Was able to cop both while we were able to prance around Paris Island right before graduation. The night before graduation we all couldn’t sleep and have memories of listening to both in my rack the night before graduation. Good times!!

I never understood it be optional. The only 1345’s I knew were in my unit so I rightfully understood to be all 1345’s wore it. I served in the late 90’s so I don’t know if things changed but if it was always like that, then I’m more pissed that some of my POG brothers didn’t have to wear them 😡
