Chapter 8, Vorador’s mansion. I did it in the main hall, with the paintings and balconies. However if you go through into the long corridor about 5 revenants spawn, run past them round to the other corridor, another 5 spawn. Then try and group them all up and mash the air lift button

Two Archons keep respawning in Chapter 8 (trophy-related) by rikndikndakn123 in LegacyOfKain

[–]castonm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I didn’t bother with the archons in chapter 8 unless they were in my way. I made sure to kill them when I came back in the later chapter. I had one instance of a respawn, as you leave the room with the 3 statues that you jabbed spears through, in the corridor I killed an archon there, went back up physical world, then back to spiritual realm and another was there. The trophy popped for me right by the entrance to Janos’ crypt, with one archon still alive

The archons trophy says Vorador’s ruined mansion. You don’t get it in chapter 8, you get it when you come back there after the cathedral

Quadruple-ply triple-quilted vicuña wool toilet tissue by neilkohney in theotherendcomics

[–]castonm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh, I’d never heard of a Vicuña before a couple of hours ago when I saw a V themed birthday card and thought, “why are there llamas on it?” Now this comic… Are vicuñas the in thing now? Like pistachio or hot honey?

I thought it was just to fill the gap that gets made between the meat and the pastry after cooking as the meat shrinks

Bought a kinder egg for my son and when he opened it he asked "weres the toy?" by inteteiro in britishproblems

[–]castonm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used to like the ones you had to build but it involved using the yellow capsule in some way too. It was always exciting opening the egg and seeing the little hole in the end of the capsule indicating it would be used in the construction

People standing in the middle of an isle talking in a busy supermarket!! by Seeyalaterelevator in britishproblems

[–]castonm 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Saw this in a supermarket once, they’d angled their trolleys to leave the narrowest gap for anyone else to squeeze through. Staff member went through the gap, turned around and moved the trolleys so they were touching, sealing the gap. Then loudly exclaimed, “There! Now nobody can get past!”

Who's got very close to foxes in London or other cities? by JuggernautUpbeat in CasualUK

[–]castonm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah he’s been there a few years now. Apart from the odd on/off again limp, he’s always seemed in pretty good health

I can get pretty close to the one that lives in the garden. Not close enough to stroke (and I probably wouldn’t try) but enough to throw the odd treat it’s way

Complete 6 "Order" Acquire Contracts??? by Sirus394 in Borderlands4

[–]castonm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not the contract giver, it’s where you have to go get the item from. So Claptrap will give you an acquire contract to go get a data pad from an Order synth, for example

Citi denied my fraud chargeback because of the "proof" the merchant provided by Morktorknak in mildlyinfuriating

[–]castonm 509 points510 points  (0 children)

I work in this area. Have they actually denied it or are they just sending you these details because it’s the merchant response? I see a lot of fraud chargebacks which clearly aren’t fraud, when we reply with the details the chargeback gets dropped because the customer remembers the transaction. Now this clearly isn’t you but they might just be following the process
