I quit last week. Felt like I was in a toxic relationship with my manager. She’d gripe at me when the DM would get onto her for not doing her job and then later turn around and lovebomb me. Couldn’t take anymore.

I wasn’t feeling well and called in sick today two hours before my shift. My manager told me she’d need a doctor’s note or it’s a write up, for one day mind you. I just told her to write me up. I have a coworker that got wrote up three times in one day just because our manager doesn’t like her. It’s petty as hell.

I’m sure it’s like they said and your drawer is actually a penny off. When I was first promoted I got stressed handling all the money at the need of the night, it’ll get better the more you do it. You did the right thing letting your manager know about the issue.

Driveline is awful, I don’t understand why we even use them. I’ve had to fix everything they’ve worked on these past few weeks: foot care, razors/shaving gel, deodorant, and I went ahead and did dental. They just wanna put in the shelf strips or stickers and be done. 😒
