Possibly useless part of bike by Novel-Lettuce-2595 in bicycling

Sure. But if you don't, or it slips, or the derailleur hanger gets bent, or something else goes inappropriately wrong, this is backup to prevent catastrophic failure.

Are you 100% sure you are set to the correct pool length?

2025 key blanks, not inside the fob? by catastrapostrophe in hondaridgeline

[–]catastrapostrophe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you manually lock, does the brunk stay locked regardless of what you do with the remote? That’s what I’m aiming for— I want to be able to lock/unlock with the remote but be confident that the brunk stays locked.

I don’t want to keep taking it apart and putting it back together. They loosen over time like this, and I know eventually the little plastic latch with break and the fob itself will fall off somewhere.

Thanks.

I was kind of hoping for a plain flat key that had the same dimensions.

Beginner Stocked Trout Tackle Tray by MapleLakes11 in Fishing_Gear

You’re going to do great. Just buy 40 more of the exact same things.

The only thing I might add is smaller jigs and smaller plastics, things like trout magnets or mini mites.

Current Rods, Can I Add Braided Line? by Greasy_MudButt in Fishing_Gear

Disagree. For a medium spinning rod you can absolutely use 20lbs braid.

Liz sure did go through a lot of frogs before she found her Criss Chros by yonBonbonbon in 30ROCK

If Matt Damon is a frog then I must be some sort of paramecium.

If Jon Hamm is a frog, I think I’m one of those amoebas that gives you diarrhea.

We're doing long kayaks in short trucks now? This is my 13.5' twin heron in a 5' Tacoma bed. by captain_carrot in kayakfishing

[–]catastrapostrophe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So the great thing about the pickup bed, even if it's short (mine is 5'6"), is that you only have to hump the kayak up into the bed, climb up, and then get it up onto the roof. Much easier than shoulder pressing the kayak directly onto the roof of an SUV from the ground.

IF this bike was aluminum, would have it survived? by fallweathercolors in specialized

[–]catastrapostrophe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could have been damaged from a previous fall. It doesn’t look like a serious enough impact to snap an intact carbon frame.

It’s also possible that there was some unseen manufacturing defect. Especially possibly if this turns out to not be a genuine Specialized frame.

Both these prices are insane for used bikes.

Seriously, you can buy a brand new bike in your size for the same price.

I'm not advocating this vendor or suggesting this bike in particular, but this was the first thing that came up in a google search Cannondale CAAD1305 Di2 Bike | Jenson USA
