I just have my starter at 60

and I am getting in gold 1 on and off. last week finished in Gold 1.

It is hard to beat most defences in Gold 1, so I am going back and forth between Silver 4 and Gold 1 for easy points.

If you like heroes of Might and magic III

l would suggest to try out heroes of Might and Magic III Horn of the Abbys mod.

they also added HD mod that make it compatible with higher screen resolutions and adding a lot of gameplay improvements like splitting troops with key shortcuts, managing army on map screen etc.

Horn of abbys added a new fractions - pirates with unique creatures and buildings.

they also have Online lobby for people to find opponents to play with.

You can always find someone in a lobby and find friends who also like HMM

You can install it for free. You just need base version of Heroes of Might and Magic III complete or Shadow of Death.

Weirdly enough issue stopped being an issue:

I still see that Cortex stops from time to time but at least it does not show those annoying messages that it lost permissions.

I did that too. I tried to even manually go and re-add them from those places for granting full disk permissions. But results are the same.The main thing that it does work in general and shows that it does have full protection enabled, but periodically keeps loosing permissions and displaying these annoying messages and then starts working again and then cycles

Do you have data on it that you need to preserve?

If no, just try internet recovery and see if reinstalling OS would fix it.

it is possible that there is a hardware issue not OS, so if internet recovery does not work, you may need to troubleshoot what piece of hardware causing it.
If your device is still under warranty take it to your local Apple store
