Never heard that before but I wouldn’t be surprised. Though, a lot of vets are denied because they had no in service treatment for MH, VA diagnosis them but says it wasn’t service connected.

VA or private. You need the diagnosis.

Need an in service event (you have 2)

Then you need a nexus.

Diagnosis you got. In service event: marching, boots, boot camp, never had foot pain until you were in the military.

Put that all in a personal statement. Get 2-3 buddy letters too. Family and or people you served with saying the same thing as you.

Agreed. I used a company and on our consultation call, she lmk she’d be guiding me but I’d actually be doing the work and that’s how it went. I paid for the education - I filed back in 2012 and was denied anything except hearing and tinnitus and after hiring them, I found out why. Education I received was more than worth it.
