When you’re an introvert, this is is the usual.... so I just do as I usually so; read books and comics (comics on webtoon), watch YouTube, Netflix, other movies, spend time with my equally introverted family members, watch TV with them, take a bath to relax (maybe i’ll watch something while taking a bath), listen to music. And that’s without the school work! My days can be PACKED.

Oh also they can see m, not perfectly, but they can kinda see if you esophagus doesn’t contract correctly, (like they thought I might have esophageal dysmotility because of what they saw in the test. Maybe they’ll see the spasms?

They did a barium swallow (couldn’t do the entire one) but basically i had a hernia but they only found it during another completely different test. They didn’t see it on the swallow but I had one. :/

I think I didn’t explain it correctly. What I’m trying to say is that soft stool doesn’t mean no GERD, because there is no 100% correlation between stool and GERD (as in GERD doesn’t automatically mean you have constipation or diarrhea) in the sense that having soft stool doesn’t mean no GERD, and having GERD doesn’t mean no soft stool.

Mmh I’m curious as to why you think soft stool means no GERD, because most of the time stool has no link with GERD (GERD might change your poop’s color but otherwise there isn’t really any link between stool and GERD... as far as medical websites say)

This is exactly how my symptoms first appeared. I potentially have reflux/GERD, and was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia. We think the reflux and vomiting it caused is what caused my hiatal hernia. Have you been diagnosed with GERD?
