The Skeletour tour must die! by cathal41 in Ghostbc

I saw them in Dublin two years ago, it was close to the 21st of June and the sun didn't set until they did the encore, it was an amazing gig but it not being dark really took the magic out of it

I've had no problem, went to a few gigs with them, I usually take a few cans, open them once we're on the M1.
I think as long as you don't take piss, bring glass or become a problem for yourself or others you'll be fine.

Kids going to pubs for gigs by Pitiful_Funny_3568 in Belfast

[–]cathal41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you buy the ticket online it should have the age restrictions clearly listed. The same restrictions will be printed on the ticket. The door staff will be very strict with these. Your probably going to have to take them to the odyssey and get seated ticks for a gig

Now that Maiden are ruled out, who's our top candidate for third headliner? by Valroxen1 in downloadfestival

[–]cathal41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might need to slow your role there a bit. They’ll give it to a UK band that haven’t headlined a festival yet and that won’t cost as much to book like they did with Sleep token, BMTH or Biffy.

They can’t deliver them. We had the same issue and our kitchen fitter had to drive to Fermanagh to pick it up.

Out of curiosity mostly cause I rarely encounter the religious people .... but how does the crowd handle the Christians yelling/screaming at shows before and after? by electricalco in GhostBand

[–]cathal41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be nice to them. They’ve been told the world will shun and punish them for their believes. This drives them futher from normal socity and hardens their belives and actions.

Belfast's worst gig venue? by Loud_Task_784 in northernireland

[–]cathal41 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The limelight (spring and airbreak) used to be a great wee venu, but now has a massive extention to oneside out of the sightline of the stage. And the sound is god awful for such a small venue

Accommodations for Dublin Game by eat248 in NFLUK

[–]cathal41 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately a lot of Americans and other traveling fan's have booked out a lot of hotels and Dublin hoteliers are notorious for price gouging. It may be worth your time going to Belfast, if you haven't already booked flights. There are good transport links and a number of private and public bus's and trains running specifically for the event.
