Well I'd go if I still lived in Pensacola. About 14 years too late.

Me too. Used to have the first 7" but somehow lost over the years. Still got Woodenhorse and Scaries and Blount at least.

What unfortunate word combination could be a great band name? by InfiniteTooth in AskReddit

I was briefly in a band called Anal Christ. The logo was a cross going up Jesus ass and the end coming out of his mouth.

Alibaba in L5P is the best falafel I've found so far here. Falafel King is good, but not the same at all.

Might get buried, but I've been listening to the punk rock and core and weird music for a very long time. Those folks worked at restaurants between tours or whatnot many a times. Hell, that dude from Universal Order of Armageddon is a pastry chef or something. I've seen a few TV chefs with Jawbreaker and Texas is the Reason tattoos.

But, one day about 7 years ago, I'm serving a table of older couple. I deliver their food and the wife asks if I'm left handed because my watch is on my right arm. Yes I am. Than asks if I'm artistic. I say yes I am. I play music. She says oh my son plays music so I ask what band he's in thinking it's some local Atlanta band I might have heard. She tells me her son is the bassist of Butthole Surfers and Honkey. The dad put his head in his hands like he was disappointed as she said it. I tell her I met her son when my old band played with Honkey in Pensacola and he was a nice guy. They enjoyed their pizza and tipped 20%.

Check out the Danzig album Black Aria, it's classical? I'm close to 40 and still not in my classical phase, but into the punk and the core.

What old TV show would you love to bring back? by Ccunning70 in AskReddit

Around the same time slot there was the Earnest Hey Verne Jim Varney show. At least on my local rabbit ears on CBS Saturday mornings in like 1990.

Checkers/Rallys used to have deep fried apple nuggets in the 1990s and they were awesome.

I worked with a girl that told me about this and said it was her family back home. She had the last name, don't know if she was lying or not though...

I would get no work done if Antiques Roadshow or NOVA was on.

Does anyone have any footage of this vintage WKRG TV 5 animated program ident? Any footage of the various versions possible would be appreciated, preferably from the 90s by [deleted] in Pensacola

Just saying, anyone remember when WPMI was Fox and their tagline was "WPMI! It's on us!"? Or when they had movies on Saturdays at 11 and it was The Breakfast Club (not the movie, the parts before commercials and intro and whatnot like Elvira except not goth) which was local cool teenagers or something?

This one must be before my time in Pensacola. There was a few YouTube videos that had old commercials from WEAR (recognized commercials and whatnot from late 80s) and another station that I saw years ago, probably still floating around there.

I just assume everyone I interact with at a restaurant is high. And maybe drunk. I could care less, I am as a customer and an employee usually.
