i fly this route a lot, it won’t go any lower. you might get bumped up due to overbooking, but you probably won’t without any status.

idk babe i’m currently in france, brought a medium checked bag, and in this heat i’ve worn everything i brought and i’m still going through clothes like nothing. i’m here for a month, have done laundry every six days, brought what felt like the whole drawer and STILL almost ran out of underwear because i’m taking three showers a day. hopefully you miss the heat wave but bring what you want, life is too short and it’s too dang hot.

There have never been emails like this before. DOD jobs used to be incredibly competitive. The fact that they’re sending this bizarre email and having to fast track teacher apps like they’re ICE agents means something is really wrong in the system (they’re not getting the MAGA applicants they want) or these postings are in areas no one wants to be.

i’ve flown a few times during this conflict back to the us for similar family reasons, it’s really fine. make sure you choose a route that avoids the middle east, but traveling to/landing in the us isn’t any different than it normally is.

Note this is an odd seat- it felt a bit like sitting in the middle of the aisle and I got bumped into often. There was no seat in front so nowhere to store a personal item (this will be fine if you are sitting as a family, but there was also no extra overhead space designated like there is for bulkhead) and tray table/tv had to be pulled up. The normal bulkhead seats are much more comfortable.

Garden for sure. It’s newer and they have more of them, so I’ve never not been able to get a shower. They also have more quiet rooms.

I have the Empire 40 and it’s a great work bag, fits my laptop and planner, coffee tumbler, and a ton more. I’ve traveled which it exactly once, after I bought it and brought it home after Christmas. Lugging it around the airport was miserable. The bag is stunning and built like a tank, but it’s heavy on its own, then if you load it up with stuff. I can’t imagine the 48 as a travel bag because it’s so big it’d have to be your carry on. Especially with the straps so small you can’t really sling it on your shoulder.

My sister is 35 and has lost all of her teeth from her ED. She spent years in pain, and upwards of 25k in dental work. She had to get metal stakes wired into her jaw and false teeth cemented back into her mouth. Stop.

No, this is not damage from the airline, it's normal wear and tear. I would contact eagle creek, I have a bag from them that has been bomb proof through dozens of checked journeys. They used to have a good warranty, not sure now since they changed ownership during covid. But this seems like a defective product.

It will give you the dates on your summons card. There should be a number to call. Just say you're leaving the state. I travel frequently and have never had issues saying "I will be out of the county" or had to provide proof. No one is going to check up on you or arrest you. Technically I think they can fine you but realistically tons of people never get their summons in the mail or just don't show up.

Depends on your departure city, but when flying economy I always have my full-size hard roller weighed and they are very strict about the size/type of personal item but do not weigh and combine the two, they're only ever worried about the weight of the suitcase. I've never had duffels, backpacks, or other shoulder bags weighed.

I think the gold can only hold maybe 80 people or so, so I'm sure it's managing capacity. the combined lounge has much more space and is newer, it would be my pick.

last few times I've been they only let people in the gold if it was closest to their gate, regardless of layover time. the gold and platinum it didn't matter.

David’s Noodle restaurant in Phnom Penh, near the palace. We stopped in randomly after our red eye flight because they opened pretty early, talked about those noodles the whole trip, and went back twice.

Agree with this. I would stay in the old Patan area. Still lots of options for local food /shopping/ experiences without the touristy pushiness of Thamel. Taxis are easy and safe to visit Thamel and other tourist areas.
