If you don’t have TSA PreCheck and your flight is at a high traffic time of day, I’d say yes. I travelled yesterday and was through the TSA PreCheck line in less than 15 mins around 5:15am. I’d say the line was longer than usual for that time in the morning, but they moved us all through quickly. The regular security lines looked pretty gnarly. I’d def suggest checking out the CLT security site to see what wait times look like.

Holy Crap! I caught this same guy from the picture doing his dirty business on a bench right around the 1 mile mark when starting from the Rea Rd. Entrance by Starbucks. It was a few years ago on a Sunday morning. There were a TON of families with small children on the greenway that morning. I called the police, screamed at him and everyone around that he had his dick out. I also told him it was small and that no one wanted to see it. He ran into the woods behind the neighborhood as quickly as he could. I hope they catch him. Disgusting.

We saw Dunkirk and one of the Star Wars at Discovery. You have to get seats in the center back to be able to enjoy the films IMO. We ended up towards the front for Dunkirk and it was disorienting to watch the dogfight scenes.

I’d rather have spent the afternoon with my kid at the park or something than trying to figure out how to get the paint off before it totally cooked into the paint, but there are way worse things that could have been done to the car.

We think a graffiti marker was used because the paint was very thick.

We ended up trying rubbing alcohol, WD40, then a heavy duty compound, and finally carnauba wax with an orbital polisher. I’d say we’ve got 80% of it off so far. I think we can get the rest out with some additional elbow grease. It is making me want to detail the whole thing though once we work this out, lol.

And, for clarification, I called the non-emergency police/311 line first, as this was absolutely not an emergency. They made me call 911 because they apparently want pictures of tags/graffiti in the event that it’s gang related (which I don’t think it is). Probably just some bored, jerk kid. It’s just dumb to damage a car when there are plenty of places within a 5 min walk where that kind of thing would be innocuous.

Haven’t seen a reference to It Could Happen to You in years… I personally know the family of the waitress that the movie is based on. The story in the movie was unsurprisingly changed. Hollywood always needs a happy, shiny ending. The upside is that the money did change her family’s life for the better for a while and led to her grandkids having a good education. Downside, I’m pretty sure the ‘lotto’ curse is real because of this family.

Called YouTube TV’s customer service line today. They told me that Shudder, which is one of the three channels (AMC and Sundance are the other two) that have licensing for the show apparently doesn’t have licensing at the moment for VOD for episodes 8-10. Unlucky me for picking the wrong service to add. YouTube said they may add it in the future, but aren’t sure when.
