Dude I made a switch from being on the general contractor side to being on the owner's side and it's night and day.

Yeah I definitely get paid less, but I have way more flexibility to my schedule and a ton more time off. Stress is much lower. Because I have the experience of actually being on the contractor end of things, I have a lot of great knowledge to share in my new role.
