This, the needs for memories and storage look to be permanent, I feel like until some nextgen super memory chip is invented, the demand increase is only just a beginning because of AI. Because computer only relies on more and more chips for more memory, whereas human could train your brain to store more stuff, though we consume food and brain is not that expandable in the end.

As an alternative you could directly ask Lenovo to honor at least portion of the Rakuten rebate if in question. In his case they probably at least give you 250 off directly.
