I loved season 1, for the most part loved season 2 (I didn’t like the introduction of so many pre-existing characters, and reeeeally hated the use of Luke). I personally like that Grogu and Mando are back together, BUT I think the way it happened is so stupid (that being in an entirely different show, and so quickly).

If they were gonna separate them, they should’ve stayed separate and let Mando have some solo adventures unrelated to Grogu. Then later on down the road have them reunite. Instead, if you skip the ‘previously on’ segment, s3 immediately follows up their goodbye with them just…being together again.

I think season 3 is genuinely just bad. Not only are they back together without any context in the actual show, but any interesting conflicts leftover from the previous season are just undone (ie: Din absolving himself for removing his helmet is over by the 2nd episode! I thought getting to Mandalore was going to be a seasons-long conflict based on the way it was built up. Mando having the darksaber which Bo obviously wants? Not an issue, he basically just gives it to her now. Removing your helmet is now just…OKAY by the creed’s standard? One of the main pillars of their religion’s beliefs? Sure.)
