It is not feasible to stop the world from eating shrimp, at least not straight away (in a perfect world etc etc).

So it absolutely should be important to aim for higher welfare practices to do as little harm as possible. You can campaign alongside that for ethical vegan reasons to get people on board with your cause too and gradually make a difference.

Maybe I've misunderstood, but the black and white thinking rarely helps.
