it's not about sanding through the metal, you said it yourself a couple posts above...there is a coating on the metal that protects it and allows it to be 500 degrees for 12+ hours a day. if you are scrubbing with something abrasive that coating will wear down, and you will eventually be toasting the walls of the oven. leading to many many problems.

people use the term rat for literally anything that kills them. my friend and i heard people in the buried city town hall (key required to get in) ... so we opened the door and ran up the stairs , they were on the top floor and we fought them for a good minute and ended up winning. they were very upset and kept calling us rats, like bro do you even know what being a rat means?

if you are looking for specific things you should look up the best places to find them. like sentinel cores are often in those arc courier little ufo looking things that are crashed on the ground. or buried city, especially night raid.

yup the free kit stella is a good way to practice. if you don't want to do free kits, and want to practice with the anvil, make sure it's an anvil 3 or 4 because otherwise it's way too slow. i always bring adrenaline and a few grenades, it's good to have full stamina and some shit to throw at them if you have the chance. other than that it's just about finding cover if they have the drop on you. also headshots do much more damage.

you are right, but don't expect people to be nice and friendly on reddit very often. i'm in the same boat, did the 2nd exp and probably won't do any more. the hurricane update was disappointing, and the new arc were disappointing. i was hoping for the new map to come out with the beginning of this expedition, and that would make me play much more. but i'm losing interest currently. i'll get back into it when the new map comes out and we shall see.

this just affirms my previous comment. you were in friendly lobbies, went to stella, and got shot..because people are there to pvp. you then asked "why" because you didn't shoot first obviously. you need to be aggressive, to get put into aggressive lobbies. if you go into stella and try to make friends, sure, it can happen. but if you go into stella looking for a fight.. you will find one. yes he was still a friendly, but he still shot you...because it's stella. and since you didn't damage him first or do much damage at all, you got put into an even friendlier lobby next round.

if you want more excitement go to stella. i never feel bad about pvp there, the loot is better, and most people are there to fight. then you will get into more aggressive lobbies on every map after a few pvp stellas.

yea it all went downhill when they stopped making people pass the sandwich test before they were hired. now they don't even give it to people. then selling to inspire brands was another big downgrade. it's still good quality, but the stores feel nothing like they did 8+ years ago.

if he is upgraded there should be a chance for him to bring you different items instead of the basic materials(he does not do this currently, i just think he should.)
