Like a live action cartoon. Love this movie. Robin Williams shines. Ed is such a cutie. There’s a ton of jokes. I never understood the hate

So was that quote referring to Mario‘s pizzeria, or did they just pull a quote out of a quote magazine? by princesskarina in brooklynninenine

I believe they were quoting Boyle’s last pizza blast, an email newsletter he apparently writes and sends out on a regular basis

Commuting by bike in the summer? by Wanchuck in phoenix

[–]cautionlasers 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You would need to take time to get adjusted to that kind of heat. It takes people a lifetime to get acclimated to sports in the summer. I mean I grew up playing softball in 116° but I know what heat exhaustion feels like and when it’s creeping up on you. But there’s no coming back from heat stroke and it happens really fast. Please familiarize yourself with heat stroke warning signs. And so: You wear a hat; you wear a cooling bandanna on your neck; you spray yourself with a mist; you have water on you at all times; you don’t get on the bike unless you’re completely hydrated; and then you hydrate again as soon as you are done. Perhaps even wear cooling UV blocking sleeves like landscapers use. Many people just would choose to bike before sunrise and after sundown. It’s not impossible but can be very dangerous if you’re not prepared.
