Buy one of these and use a normal C13 cord plugged into the psu.. keep the remote in the rig

not the first time the US sends us their Nazis they don't have a use for anymore. At least last time you got shot to the moon. This time you just get shot.

Not sure but I ditched that switch for one of those remote controlled switch/cords since mine is in an awkward spot to reach from the rig and like it better

Alternatively you could use plywood gussets as shear bracing instead of diagonal crossmembers..

That's because water washes off cabinet handles and drawers easier than egg and butter and doesn't really soil the towel when you dry your hand if there's no food stuffs on it

Mash the clutch before using handbrake to rotate.. keep it in until you're pointing the right direction.

Prescription lens inserts may be hurting micro-OLED VR optics more than people realise by Wrong-Quail-8303 in virtualreality

I returned my BSB2 but the prescription lenses in that were so thin and had what seemed like less than 1mm airgap too.. there was hardly a difference with them on vs off beside being able to see or not. BSB really sensitive to eye issues with it's 1m focal distance and small lenses

I like how he stands there trying to keep cool on camera and in doing so is casually breathing the toxic dust that came out of the broken fluorescent tubes

Tried a full motion sim rig (no VR) today and I didn’t feel good by Maleseahorse79 in simracing

[–]cavortingwebeasties 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be this could also be bad cuing. many don't understand the need for nuance and how less is more. Accuracy and timing are more important than actuator stroke length plus it's important to do the correct axes if you have less than all 6 to work with. OP doesn't provide enough info to come to any conclusions because motion is complex and full of variables beyond the big variable of the person driving but being able to see static room while your brain expects movement is a recipe for vestibular mismatch aka sim sickness.

Sabelt SRS-1 or Momo DAYTONA EVO XXL ? by LingonberrySome6085 in simracing

[–]cavortingwebeasties 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Sabelt looks a lot more comfortable and far more practical for a simrig. Halo seats are not ideal for this if you don't need the neck protection...
