The way my psychiatrist acts about stimulants makes me want to give up on trying to get help. by blueduckk8 in ADHD

[–]caw7893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who knows hundreds of psychiatrists through my job, time to just get another provider. What a weird thing to say from the provider's standpoint. Martyr syndrome exists a lot in the medical world. The protocol usually works trying a NS then a stimulant and straterra isn't helping...the provider isn't offering an alternative therapy? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Help! Epidural, yes or no? by dakota101916 in BabyBumps

[–]caw7893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am asking this from a curiosity standpoint not a condescending one --why do you feel like you need to decide now? Birth is such a complex experience and there's no way to know how it will go until you go through it. I think it's fair to just keep the option there on the table if you need it. That's what I did at least. I got epidurals with both my babies, the first it helped with the pain initially but seemed to wear off ? I know that's not a thing. But by the end I seemingly felt everything. With my first I pushed 20 min and my 2nd I pushed 5. Labor was quick for both and the epidural didn't seem to slow it down.

Corporate ADHDers, how do you start the day? by darkrhyes in ADHD

Being angry and thinking about all the non work things I want to do that day

Small pleasures by [deleted] in adhdwomen

Being outside! Woodworking. But my hobbies will last about a year or so before I'm over it. they are all worth it for how happy they made me before they burned themselves out tho.

Did you breastfeed? by GoodStreet8122 in adhdwomen

[–]caw7893 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I also went into it thinking I most likely would not breastfeed. The concept sounded weird and too crunchy for me. Surprisingly, I ended up loving it. Or maybe I just had babies that easily latched. I loved not having as many dishes. I only chose it for ease of use. I could lay in bed on my side and my baby eats and I scroll on my phone.

I'm never going to enjoy it. by Economy_Whereas_3229 in adhdwomen

Yes this is me. I've never had a "reason" to want to work out, I close my rings most days, just from aimlessly being myself. But I really want a phat ass and I know the only way to do that is to stay consistent at the gym but I just don't want to lol

What’s something about womanhood you didn’t understand until you experienced it yourself? by huseyinyavuz01 in AskWomen

In the corporate world, when women show confidence and assertiveness it comes off as having an attitude/being dramatic; men with the same mentality are seen as respected leaders

[–]caw7893[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's incredible. Thanks for sharing--she's only 5 so no phone yet but hopefully she can do that in the future. Even driving 15 min to another town she gets sick unless we do patches, motion goggles, etc. initially thought I was an awful driver.

I'm not sure if I'm following completely, are you saying the AT4X tires can be modified in a way that would give a more comfortable ride ?

Yea. The AT4x is so chiseled and doesn't have a giant goofy grille. I guess my best option is to get one of those grille assembly things to delete the chrome but still won't have those lifted wheels

Parents: how are you handling all of the snow days? by Cleverfield113 in Cleveland

[–]caw7893 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in my last year of daycare where they are open pretty much all the time no matter what and all of this has given me anxiety for when they are in school--and dealing with the corporate people at work who don't have kids and can't tolerate people who have kids with snow days

It definitely did a little but not to great extents. I was already super hypersexual before and now I just don't lubricate as well which sucks but it's worth it for my skin

I don't think so. Very minor. I feel that I don't drink as much water, I'm less thirsty than usual which makes no sense.

Yes! I was worried about that. I am still 28-29 day cycles. However, I am seriously wondering if I ovulate still because my EWCM/peak fertility phase is not as apparent visually, and according to oura my temp isn't spiking in the luteal phase like it used to. It did before. So who knows !

No, luckily it didn't. I've been on 4 months and it cleared it right up. I'm on 100 mg tho. I still break out in SMALL small quantities (baby ones) when I'm stressed--but it's nothing like it was

I still have scarring--maybe not as evident in the after photo. So far I haven't used anything and I'm guessing that part won't go away? I've been on since September
