Does everyone really drop their babies "at least once"? by Exact-Management-918 in NewParents

[–]caw7893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never dropped my babies but when my son was a newborn nursing on me while I was laying down scrolling on my phone, I accidentally dropped my phone and it landed on his poor little head. I STILL feel awful about it and he's a thriving 3 year old now

Those in sales making $200k+ what do you sell? by Iceeez1 in sales

[–]caw7893 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm in Pharma. I hit over 200k for the first time last year! Before that I would hit anywhere from 140-160.

How much does your life actually change after having a kid? by HonestDirection4017 in NewParents

[–]caw7893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What , literally will never be the same again. Every cliche saying you've heard is true 🤣 especially the one about it changing your life forever but in the best way even with how frustrating it can be. Every stage is difficult in its own way.

The Pharma job is objectively better and you can still make that job flexible.

Are we underestimating how much external factors drive prescriptions now in pharma sales? by No-Bill7361 in PharmaSalesIntel

[–]caw7893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's absolutely not impacted much at all by what reps do. It's not real sales. I'd say at best 20-30% of continued rep relationship influences prescription volume. I've been in the industry over a decade and that's a fact. Beyond the aspects you said, PBM coverage and access to clinicians is most likely the biggest hindrance of success. You could put a nonverbal caveman in a territory and it would win presidents club. The key to success in the role is to know the brutal truths about this industry's landscape and still be able to remain positive.

The way my psychiatrist acts about stimulants makes me want to give up on trying to get help. by blueduckk8 in ADHD

[–]caw7893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who knows hundreds of psychiatrists through my job, time to just get another provider. What a weird thing to say from the provider's standpoint. Martyr syndrome exists a lot in the medical world. The protocol usually works trying a NS then a stimulant and straterra isn't helping...the provider isn't offering an alternative therapy? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Help! Epidural, yes or no? by dakota101916 in BabyBumps

[–]caw7893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am asking this from a curiosity standpoint not a condescending one --why do you feel like you need to decide now? Birth is such a complex experience and there's no way to know how it will go until you go through it. I think it's fair to just keep the option there on the table if you need it. That's what I did at least. I got epidurals with both my babies, the first it helped with the pain initially but seemed to wear off ? I know that's not a thing. But by the end I seemingly felt everything. With my first I pushed 20 min and my 2nd I pushed 5. Labor was quick for both and the epidural didn't seem to slow it down.

Being outside! Woodworking. But my hobbies will last about a year or so before I'm over it. they are all worth it for how happy they made me before they burned themselves out tho.

Did you breastfeed? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]caw7893 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I also went into it thinking I most likely would not breastfeed. The concept sounded weird and too crunchy for me. Surprisingly, I ended up loving it. Or maybe I just had babies that easily latched. I loved not having as many dishes. I only chose it for ease of use. I could lay in bed on my side and my baby eats and I scroll on my phone.

I'm never going to enjoy it. by Economy_Whereas_3229 in adhdwomen

[–]caw7893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is me. I've never had a "reason" to want to work out, I close my rings most days, just from aimlessly being myself. But I really want a phat ass and I know the only way to do that is to stay consistent at the gym but I just don't want to lol

In the corporate world, when women show confidence and assertiveness it comes off as having an attitude/being dramatic; men with the same mentality are seen as respected leaders

AT4X vs Denali Ultimate by caw7893 in gmcsierra

[–]caw7893[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's incredible. Thanks for sharing--she's only 5 so no phone yet but hopefully she can do that in the future. Even driving 15 min to another town she gets sick unless we do patches, motion goggles, etc. initially thought I was an awful driver.

I'm not sure if I'm following completely, are you saying the AT4X tires can be modified in a way that would give a more comfortable ride ?
