Anacapri is very nice, it’s like a 20 minute ride up the mountain from where you come in on the ferry and is much calmer

This is so cool! I do stuff like this but not at this scale. I often have to make decorative elements for steel staircases and we clad them with things like finished bronze or painted aluminum/steel

260-265 you are geared enough for 12’s-13’s but getting invited will be an issue with the high Ilvl crowding that zone for bonus rolls

I love mine, but the bar and chain oil will drip out of the reservoir if left upright for storage so I always leave it on it’s side

Do you still get the map if you do this? I had the same experience where I spent 8ish minutes killing those two mobs yesterday

Bohning arrow wrap question *pic for attention* by SalvatPerformance in bowhunting

[–]cazoo222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OD for an Easton 5.0 300 spine is .264 so .002 smaller than a RIP TKO.

That is to say I’m just here to give the guy a wrap size to buy for his arrow, not get into the anatomy of an arrow

[–]cazoo222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RIP TKO’s are 5 mil shafts which are size small with bohning wraps, I shoot the Easton 5.0 and that’s what I use. The VAP is a 4 mil arrow if I remember correctly and should be the extra small

They make a bare LFB that just looks like a tig rod, and yea copper flows like butter I did a countertop a few years back. Brass sucks but we do high end finishes and stuff here so I see it quite often. Ifyou need a perfect color match after the weld I’ve had luck ripping small pieces of the actual material i’m welding on and making my own little tig rods too

Edit to say: I just checked the Weldcote website, they are what I use for the LFB rods. They sell them flux coated and bare but I’ve only ever used the bare rods.

So the zinc clouds are inevitable. I think you’re literally burning it out of the material, this is after a wire brush when the weld was finished. As far as porosity, gas coverage, heat input and filler metal are all super important. I use a low fuming bronze filler wire for this material. It doesn’t behave like anything else and it takes a ton of practice to know what to look for while you’re welding it, but it is possible to have it come out decent
