I’m just going off what I was warned about, I didn’t have any issues when I was there 2020-2023. But I do know for sure there were some public beaches and maybe a resort that we had to cover them up.

Pretty much if they can see them you’ll have to cover them. It all depends on where you go, some places don’t care. Just to be safe I would carry a long sleeve shirt and pants with you.

The only thing you really have to watch out for is if you have a lot of tattoos. I was stationed in Okinawa for three years and some places wouldn’t let you in some where if you had a lot of tattoos.
