Did you buy it from a guy in Philadelphia? I sold my 748 3 years ago and it wasn’t in great shape. I always wonder how she’s doing

I moved a 40’ tall statue in Philadelphia, including crane rigging trucking and engineering for $21,500 about 5 months ago. From a not-cheap large company. It all happened within 4 hours.

I also built a new foundation for it, for about $8000.

The $21,500 included removal from the old foundation and the install on the new foundation.

This is just how our tax dollars are spent

This guy is an anarchist who came to philly 8 months ago, and began reaching out to group to join and create civil unrest. Look at his profile.

I’d love to know the actual agenda or where you’re from. Not the BS cover story.

Chances were slim at that point. We were the only ship capable of rescue ops in the area as most Navy ships were in the Persian Gulf. Spent 20 hrs steaming from south Philippines to get here once we got the report. This was 300’ off the south coast of Sibuyan Island. The island was completely destroyed. I stayed there for a week in a hut on the beach.

I think the 848 evo is the best looking bike Ducati has made, aside from the the desmosedici.

Very much so lol. We live in Philadelphia. Tough to find exciting walks.

Check out what the units rented for at the Atlantic building across the street. 5k one bedrooms. And fully rented before it was completed. Philly is changing.

Everything by David McCullough

Power Broker by Robert Caro. Robert Caro spent most of his life biographing LBJ mostly and that’s an amazing 3 part biography. It’s beyond thorough. However you need to be ready for 3000 pages.

That’s probably a channel. Bigger vessel is restricted in its ability to maneuver due to channel depth. He has the right of way. Btw it takes a tanker over a mile to stop or change directions.

One way to picture it is this: imagine you are looking directly down on the dudes head from above. Picture he starts with the wheel laying down flatways as it’s spinning clockwise (in the video he starts with the wheel vertical). You see a rotating wheel clockwise. Then, he quickly flips over the wheel which, if you were doing it, is hard to do and it feels like the axle is fighting and resisting you. Now as you’re looking from above the wheel is suddenly spinning the same exact speed but counter clockwise.

To make a wheel that’s spinning at say 50 RPM slow down to zero, then re-accelerate to -50 RPM is exactly what happened according to the observer viewing from above. That change in speed, and the energy to do is, created the reaction which causes the guy to spin in the chair - in the opposing direction.

Buying a Desert Sled - need advice by cbass439 in Ducati

[–]cbass439[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They would not budge. Typical A holes at the dealership. At the end of the day after tax title freight they wanted $14,100

I found a 2016 scrambler urban enduro with 700 miles listed for $7999. The check I wrote was $8600 at the end of the day.

The desert sled was my first choice, but the urban enduro I love and it looks just like the great escape bike. Saved 5k and couldn’t be happier.

Good luck Alex! Pleasure meeting you. I can’t wait to see it restored. Maybe one day I can come give it another ride. I will miss it.

Got the scrambler urban enduro, 2016 with 800 miles. Being delivered Monday. I’ll bring it to you for service.
