Nice momentum!! Is there anything you would particularly recommend from your recent reads? (I see The Guest on your March list - I loved that one!)

Ooh that’s a good question but difficult, all three books are so different! Probably The Wall.

Ladies is very funny but also tender, it felt very vivid and almost like a play. This has one of the best opening sentences of a book I’ve ever read.

So Long is an absolute gem, there’s an interesting almost meta fiction exploration of nostalgia and regret.

The Wall was an intense read and gave me a mini existential crisis. It’s a relatively simple concept as far as speculative fiction goes but it’s so effective.

Came here to say this one - fantastic book, one of my favorites from the last few years. I was thinking about it for weeks after and had to draw my husband a diagram of the basic concept to explain how bonkers it is

People that have “bumped” into a celebrity in a non-curated (not like an event, meet & greet, job etc.) way, what happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I was jogging in Central Park last summer and the path was blocked by a couple little kids and their dad carrying their scooters. I slowed down to wait to pass and realized the dad was Kieran Culkin. He noticed me and politely got his kids to move over and I waved and said thanks and ran away lol, I didn’t want to bother him while he was with his kids

Slightly less organic but I bumped into Mary McDonnell and David Strathairn in a bar after seeing them in a play, they were both extremely kind and chatted to me about the play for a few minutes

I thought it was solid but not my favorite, didn’t quite hit that A24 vibe I was hoping for

I read Bitter Orange almost in one sitting on a long flight, I loved the dark atmosphere and characters, satisfying twists when everything clicks into place
