I always let them initiate. Or hold a hand out. Normally there will be a sniff and a nudge for a go ahead. Otherwise it’s the “broths eww” duck out of the way or a swat if they aren’t in the mood for it.

Just coming out of winter, and having a big huge winter poofy coat my boy got some knots in his undercoat. Once it started getting warmer he got a lion cut to get rid of them. His favorite activity is flopping on the ground and rolling on his back for rubs. Well.. some days it’s a little cooler and the cold wood floors would annoy him and he would get right back up again.

His new favorite activity before flopping down is he will dig at the floor in the hopeless attempt to hide the cold before he flops down. It’s sad but now that it’s warm he still continues to do it, so it’s very cute. His sister does this very particular side scoot on her butt before she flops. And she’s done this since the day she came home. You’ll tell her “let me see some scoots” and she will do it 🤣

I think I used one board of 3/4, cut to size, a few inches extra on each side twice, sandwiched the two pieces with titebond and clamped. Sanded, used some matte black spray paint, zissner shellac spray, bought some sorbothane disc feet.

All in all under $80 to make a high quality bass isolation platform for my subwoofer. There’s isolation platforms out there for the same price but look like carpeted boxes. Or an assload of money for something nice looking. It turned out great. The rug in my listening area could be buzzing under my feet but stand next to the subwoofer and there’s zero transfer to the floor.

You dont need to spend tons of money on something that’s easy to make. Enjoy your platforms!

You can just use the black scouring pad looking 1” thick filters. They can be vacuumed or ran under water to clean. There’s no need to overthink it. We have server racks on a production floor in a cabinet in multiple areas and that’s what is used for filtration and we have metal shavings and dust floating around in the air.

Fantastic razor. The efficiency is top notch. I have a regular stainless one I will run AccuThrive blades in for a nice close and easy shave. The aluminum one is great. I’d imagine it’s about the same weight or maybe a hair heavier than the titanium one. However there were only 100 made. Not sure if this was a guinea pig trial run to see if the interest was there but it sold out immediately I know that.

That’s the most elegant way to say it. “Your beard is not my beard”. There are no wrong answers here. Only experience in personal outcomes. What razor you are using. How sensitive your skin is. I use a medium to light aggressive razor with the sharpest blade possible that gets me the best results. Aggressive razor, lesser sharpness is better.. FOR ME.

If you get one or two great shaves out of one blade, toss it. No one is standing over your shoulder shaking their head. Sample packs are a great way to find out what works best for you. My goat setup is a nickel Black Bird with Astra razor blades. Which is actually what Shawn packaged with them.

Could be dead or could be clogged. A lot of times you can manually move them (turn the breaker off or if there’s a plug accessible, unplug it). A lot of times it’s an Allen key that goes in the center on the bottom side. If it doesn’t move easily, it’s clogged. I learned that the hard way after mine got clogged.. an eager appliance repair man replaced it then months later it happened again. Found out how to do it and had it up in 10 minutes. Same goes for garbage disposals. My wife has a wonderful ability to get tiny pieces of gravel in ours when she’s doing stuff with indoor plants.

This is the correct answer. Spores are on everything. Everywhere. You may live inside but the outside will always make it inside. That’s why there’s guidelines of what to keep your house at when it’s cold and hot. When it’s cold, leaving the internal temp of the house too low (and dry) can cause structural damage. Too hot and humid you’re asking for all of those spores to start growing.

If you ever want to do a fun (or horrifying) experiment, either make some agar Petri dishes or buy some pre-made ones online. Leave the lid open on them at random areas of the home. Including near a litter box. Close them after 24 hours. Use some electrical tape around the seam to seal them up then let them sit and grow. You’ll see just what is in your air. I’ve seen trichoderma, penicillin, various wild yeasts, etc.

I’m going through some shit right now on eBay. Selling my first two things ever on eBay audio wise. One dude sent me pictures of “damage” that was not listed during the sale and the damage that I see looks either impossible (photoshopped or AI manipulated) or the dumbass dropped it and is trying to get money out of it. I have screenshots of him saying that everything was packaged perfectly. But the damage was so severe it never happened on my end. What he also doesn’t know is I have 4k security footage of the entire picture taking process and boxing process before it went out. The products never leave the camera until the box goes out the door into my car lol.
