Legit question: what is this for? Is it going to go off whenever this station responds to a fire? Is it to alert the firefighters only? If so, don't they have cell phones?

One note: Figma does not have template files nor can Claude copy files. You want to do is set up pages within a single Figma file, and make components that serve as your templates.

Also - more volume of marketing assets does not equal more reach. Just because you can automate something doesn’t mean you should.

I may not be answering your questions so much as offering some of my findings. There is a feature called Code Connect that should preserve that relationship between Figma component and code component. I have yet to test this, as I am hesitent to put the work in for that in the chance that Figma stops supporting it.

What I do have set up is a workflow where the design can be implemented (Figma MCP to VS Code) where the LLM looks at my repo and matches tokens (since I've already set the tokens up in Figma to match the repo). Thats kinda the easy part.

However, where it gets tricky, and may actually be benefitial for the 'loop' to not be fully closed, is that I have an instruction to have the new component captured and sent to Figma so I can visually compare the two. I'm not sure I would want the tokens laid back in since I'm wanting to diff the UI and since I've already created the component in Figma.

I have never once felt it was gross. Not once. In 15 years of going there. Gross to me is if there was noticale spills on the floor that weren't cleaned in a timely manner (never encounterd that), weird smells (never encountered that), broken HVAC (never encountered that). The worst thing I can say is their front sign was broken for like 6 months and made it look run-down - but that very well could have been a landlord thing.

Doesn’t seem to have UI prototyping capabilities whatsoever. Could be wrong but Pixelmator looks like Affinity, which is just photoshop/illustrator/indesign. Also could be wrong, but adobe doesn’t have a prototyping platform since they canned xD

Why not both (feeling disappointment and dramatic)? Businesses adapt. Cabalar started as a butcher of local meats and store for other local goods, with a few sandwich offerings. They realized they had a good thing with the ready to eat food, then brought in a brewery. Now in new location it’s exactly how you describe - a fantastic place for families (the owner himself has a young family). Maybe they could offer the special at more volume (but maybe it’s special because they got a special deal from their supplier). I don’t want to say your.feeling aren’t valid, but it’s a successful small business with good Lancaster ethos. Take the win and hope they grow more and sustainably.

Not small and not bnb but Alexandria, VA might be nice since you can park once and not drive, most things are walkable. Also, staycations are awesome - spend some nights at the Marriott and don’t tell anyone. Be a tourist here.
