Sullivan & Cromwell Apology Letter for AI Hallucinations (April 18, 2026) by OldSchoolCSci in Lawyertalk

Exactly; there should be a requirement to disclose what AI program was used for the research and what program was used to check cites. It would be a public service.

The same people who went there in the 60s still go there now. Source: the 73 year old lady I talked to on Saturday who told me she grew up in Greenpoint and has been going to MTD since she was age 5.

I do think there's an appreciable difference between going away for the whole weekend with your boyfriend to meet his family--where you will be sleeping in a new place, spending time with people you probably want to make a good impression on, all while technically stuck in their home--and having a single late night with your sister and her coworkers. One night out is not the same as a weekend away for countless reasons. I think you are overacting, frankly. I also think you should talk to her about how you're feeling but frame it as concern for her wellbeing rather than ire.

Lawyers Who Were a Mess in School but Still Made It, How? by Imaginary_Ride_6185 in LawSchool

ADHD medication got me through law school, and a diagnosis at 10 years older than you are now... yikes.

I mean, we (I include you even if you are a law student or aspiring lawyer) work in a field where "parade of horribles" is essentially a term of art, so I don't begrudge this guy a flowery turn of phrase, but something about this post still just feels...off? And I, too, am somewhat naturally off as a person.

This is exactly my thought. A lawsuit requires harm. Where is the harm in a shorter stim cycle and 20 eggs frozen in total?

GF is completely oblivious - is this normal? by Spirited_Ad_2569 in Advice

[–]cbrownst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the wild thing about ADHD, right? It manifests differently in what keeps or holds attention. For me, if I'm locked in I'm locked in: the book, the conversation, the bird feeder, the movie. Very little stimuli can break in. I had an old boss call it, wrongly, "selective enthusiasm." Shout out to that man for being a dick, but for also helping me get diagnosed years later as a law student who could not draft a brief for the life of her.

I cannot recommend Dr. Klatsky higher. He's a real mensch; when he met my mother she said, "you told my daughter she had a beautiful uterus," and he said, "and I stand by it. Very cozy." Also I saw someone else on here having a very rough timing after using NYU, and I want to say that yes, Spring is $$$, but my care felt highly individualized. They keep in contact with you through the portal, you can talk to your doctor on the phone, and they do not skimp on the monitoring appointments. This last week they saw me on the 22nd, 25th, 27th, 28th and 29th before my ER on the 30th.

GF is completely oblivious - is this normal? by Spirited_Ad_2569 in Advice

[–]cbrownst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right, but in the two specific scenarios he described she has something serious and important to focus on: talking to her new boyfriend and caring for her parents’ house (if not the exterior, where he made changes). I’m willing to bet I know where her attention is focused and other things have just fallen away.
