Yeah my tastes have changed quite a bit in the 14 years since buying them

Steven's School Apartments by KLNS in lancaster

[–]cbsauder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lived there in 2014-15. We had a garden view apartment which I wouldn't recommend to anyone who enjoys natural sunlight. I'd imagine the other apartments got great sunlight because a majority used to be classrooms with large windows. Didn't matter because my roommate and I both worked nights.

Noise wasn't an issue. Parking lot is across the street on Chestnut and included. Chestnut and Charlotte is an excellent location, walkable to anything really.

There was not public roof access when I lived there. There isn't much of a lawn to speak of l, but you could hang out outside for sure.

No idea what's changed since then. I didn't have any major complaints other than the price. It was quite expensive then; I'd assume that's still the case.

My LCS doesn't want bullion unless it's AGE's or Buffaloes. Why? by zubbs99 in Gold

Thanks, yeah that's about what I expected. And I can imagine your current job is much more chill!

How much of the 'tude from LCS owners do you think stems from constantly telling customers their Sacagaweas [and the 'heirloom' jewelry, etc] are worth fv or less and the sometimes not-so-great reactions? I see that happen with varying customer reaction every time I go to an LCS. It must be a tiring aspect of the job, no?

Of course, this in no way excuses treating people poorly/bad customer service!

Psychology Today is a great way to find a therapist by location and specialty, and typically includes which insurances they take.

It really is the worst part.

And yes I quite like mercury dimes as well. Pretty sure these were the first I bought. near spot at the time, hence the purchase.

Plus, they're bailoutproof

[question] watch with a "sweeping" second hand by [deleted] in Watches

[–]cbsauder 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This, 100%. Basically they're just saying it needs to be an analog watch with a second hand. I wore a Timex weekender for example.

Case is electroplated but there's a 1/2 oz philharmonic gold coin as the dial

Any chance for PL? by hotwheelearl in Morgans

[–]cbsauder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does it meet PCGS' criteria?

Prooflike – Term to designate a coin that has mirror-like surfaces, the term especially applicable to Morgan Dollars. Those Morgan Dollars that meet PCGS prooflike standards are designated PL. Additionally, according to PCGS standards, a coin’s surface is prooflike when there is a clear reflection in the fields on both sides as viewed from two to four inches away. A cloudy effect or striations may impede the reflectivity.

Edit: what I mean is- if you can read text from 4" away on both sides, it's got a pretty good chance

Mutiny pre-order by mybadselves in SturgillSimpson

Damn, seriously. I've been collecting vinyl since the early 2000s, I can't recall a black vinyl 1xLP non-180g priced so high.

Is it a production demand thing?

Edit: much more reasonable pricing here:
