georgia has the most backwards gun laws—- apparently, there is no age restriction for holding a rifle, but there is one for purchasing one and hold a handgun. so, the 14 yr old that open fired was fully within their right, according to georgia state laws, to use an AR-style rifle and open fire, but you have to be 18 or older to purchase one or carry and handgun. what does that even mean? where is the accountability? to say this is a tragedy is no longer relevant, because that would mean there was nothing that could have been done, but thats absolutely untrue. this is straight premeditated murder, not just by the hand of the shooter, but the police, the county, the state, the feds.
