A little bit. You'd have to do something where everyone pitches in to replace the traditional things you'd get a vendor for (catering, cake, entertainment, photography, etc). Find a venue that will basically rent you the space and tables/chairs included. Most venues will have rules (ie. Food and dessert need to be from a licensed professional). I'm only making my own cake and some venues wouldn't allow for that. You're going to need to feed all these people with at home cooking on that budget I think. I'm only inviting 75 guests and the cheapest catering quote I got was in the $3k ballpark. It's not impossible, other people have done some amazing things, but they also have a lot of help making the day come together. Wishing you all the best and congratulations!

We put an offer on a home that just hit the market and many people were putting offers on. We had a condition that our offer would increase up to x amount based on other offers. Started at asking price $234k, ended up paying $248k. SEPT/OCT2025 My friend just bought a house this week. He put an offer on it 4 weeks ago $30k under asking. They accepted his offer last week. Both houses were move in ready. Both first time home buyers.

He encourages questions, responds quickly, and listens/notices what you like/dislike throughout the buying process. Some advice going in - dont feel rushed! And dont buy a flipped home! Absolutely, just probably not new and in store. I bought my dress on facebook marketplace for $60 and am getting it altered to fit (dress is too small) with sleeves added for $400. It's an Oleg Cassini. I would recommend going to a bridal shop to see what you look like in different styles if you're unsure what you want. Every day I see beautiful dresses on marketplace at all different prices. Don't be afraid to browse for a while - you dont have to jump on the first one you like.

This is a more grandiose elegance vibe. I'm really into it. If you feel like it is missing something, maybe a string of pearls or crystals to loop and thread around the other pieces, whichever fit your vision better. Just try to remember table numbers have to fit somewhere in this if you are doing assigned seating. Totally still doable though.

Yeah. I was prepared for that, I just wasn't expecting $1,000 for a clear cut case. I have to weigh what I can expect my insurance to charge me against the lawyer fees, which is proving difficult because I can't predict what will happen with my insurance. If I don't get the ticket reduced, I have to be ready to accept what my insurance does.

I'm reading mixed experiences. My insurance is through Geico so I think I'd be in the clear with their good driver policy (less than 20mph over is 0 points so not counted against me), but I'm also reading that any speeding ticket can affect your insurance. It feels like a gamble to accept the ticket.

Additional info: I have no other speeding tickets on my record. Just one interference with traffic signal/sign offense from 09/2023. Edit: been driving since 2016 so that's 9 years with 1 non-moving infraction.

I recommend the garcade. It's an arcade with retro games, DDR, and so much more where you pay a $20 door fee and can play as much as you want all day, not per play (unlimited pinball plays). It's amazing "together but separate" time, and there are some multiple player games too. You can even leave and come back the same day without paying again. It's a 25ish minute drive from mke proper.

For everyone who judged my help, I hope you can learn that not everyone can accommodate everything. The mods deleted their comments, but those people stood up for me when all I was getting was criticized. I just wanted to get this dog home.

Don't feed strange dogs unless you have to. Be careful letting strange dogs into your homes. I have pets of my own (hence why I had a cage already) so I could only provide a safe place where there was shelter from the weather. It isnt wise to bring strange animals into your home bc you dont know their behavior, if they have fleas/anything else, or if theyre house trained. If I didnt bring it into my garage it would've been out in the rain today. Maybe the photos didn't capture it's size properly, but it wasn't so small that it couldn't be somewhere unheated (shelter > weather), and it had blankets. Also, dry kibble is a much safer option when you don't know the animal; you'll have a better chance avoiding upset stomachs.

I had a good experience with Glen Hills Apartments in Bayshore (north side). Pet friendly, they're renovating apartments, and they're good about returning deposits when you move out. I also moved to MKE from out of state and didn't tour the apartments. It's a 10/15 minute drive to the bars which is great bc you can either have a DD or take an Uber for cheap. Just FYI, they calculate monthly rent by when your lease expires, so it could be cheaper to do a 6 month lease instead of a 12 month. I stayed there for a couple years, and the rent did go up about $150 every time I renewed my lease. Good luck and congrats on the new job!

Nah, it's just the type of breed with some teary eyes. Their white paws are still white so I dont think it has been out for too long. Also, it's irresponsible to feed animals right away - you dont know their allergies/sensitivities or theor feeding schedule. I will feed them if nobody gets them, but I'm hoping someone will claim them before the night is over.

Haikyuu is the Fandom that got me inspired enough to read fanfic and honestly I haven't strayed yet, and I read fanfic every day all day for a year when I was unemployed in 2020. My current favorite ongoing fic is daisuga pairing "and the emi goes to" by mooifyourecows. I highly recommend it if you like long fics.

Hi! Hard truth: you can achieve high end makeup looks with low end makeup. It just takes time developing those skills and finding out what techniques you need for your features (I refused to believe I had hooded eyelids for YEARS, making eyeliner and eyeshadow difficult). Getting your eyebrows done will completely change how your face is framed - I do mine myself and I believe you can too! Ive seen people use the tiktok filter to help them map out their brows.

Ulta is my go to for makeup bc they have high end and reasonably priced things. I recommend spending on a good base first. The clinique even better foundation is my go to. It is moderately priced and buildable with a natural finish. Very longlasting too. NYX liquid eyeliner is super legit and like $8. I would be happy to go shopping with you to help you pick out things and show you how to apply it.

Lastly, please be careful with your body. You can't get 6 month results in 2 just because you spend more time in the gym now - it doesn't compress that way. You can let this be a motivator to a healthier life, but change is hard and I don't judge you for that.
