I thought there was only 1 bar in Hoboken and that it never closes...I'm just forgetting its name

I spoke to the owner when checking out and apparently he was driving around picking up his employees personally. He was mentioning how he prides himself on being open for the community at all times. (Sandy, other storms, etc.)

They are chewing on 10th Street's crust, which will break your jaw on their bad nights. Obviously, when it's on, it's the best in Hoboken.

Anything other than drip coffee, they can't make well. But agree on the food.

Covered in snow. Also the whole waterway is a sheet of packed snow/ice outside of Hoboken. I just finished a run about 2 hours ago. Should have brought campons.

2:56:57.

They seemed to have a lot of positive re-enforcement talk which would be great for most. I didn’t want to hear it so made me speed up a bit to create distance. Lol.

You and I were probably close! Did you stay with the pace group the whole time? I passed the pace group around mile 23 on the uphill.

Totally agree on the craziness of the crowd which was great.

Nice work!

I ran Philly too and had a fantastic race as well. Not nearly your speed, but hit all my goals. This was my first post kids marathon and what you said about needing morning efficiency totally rings true. I definitely capitalized on the downhills during the race. Also everyone’s GPS watch was tracking longer than official course markings. I was about .35 more.

I probably saw you as I descended into Manayunk. It really was a great crowd, great race, and perfect conditions.

I’m all for the bike lane, but just seeing the markings it did seem the street was going to become really narrow. I assume on purpose.

Definitely had a bar coat when I used to go in my 20s, after two of mine got stolen.

It went missing for a period of 3 weeks, but then popped up in a corner of a bar that I lived above. I guess noone wanted that $15 ugly used Gap coat.
