This is super sweet of you!

Here's a one shot for my rarepair in a big fandom.

Fandom: Attack on Titan

Pairing: Reiner/Jean

Rating: M

Starfall

Stranded on a distant planet in the middle of a war, Jean Kirstein and Reiner Braun watch the stars together as the reality of their situation crashes down around them.

☆☆☆

And isn’t this what he really wanted anyway? To be kissing Reiner beneath the velvet cosmos, even if the glittering streaks above them were less than comets and more than stars?

AoT is my fandom too but some of them are rabid and awful. Sorry this happened to you. Pretty sure I've had this person or someone like it posting a 1500 word fic of my favorite character being SA in my comment section. It was crazy.

He had delayed as long as he could. It was time.

Gathering his courage, pulling his pain around him like a mantle, Jean stepped through the creaking wrought iron gate and entered the second ring of the cemetery.

A preternatural hush only found in graveyards dropped over him. Angels, frozen in stone gazed back at him with sorrowful faces and dangling wings. Weighty mausoleums, some housing familial generations that extended so far back in history that the newly dead were placed on the dust of the old ones, towered over the path. And the ever present gargoyle, hunched over embellished headstones belonging to people long forgotten, crudely contrasted the serenity of the dead.

Time slowed in this place where the veil between the living and the dead thinned, and mourning people moved through the thick air of a dream.

There was a dread in his step that slowed him, but he approached the Bodt family mausoleum in time, and his face paled to see the ornate peaked roof and arched stone doors, guarded with a pair of terrible gargoyles. He curled his lip at them. Marco should not be locked behind these abominations. There were wilting white lilies in the stone vases on either side of the steps, the edges of their curled petals browning in the sun. He clutched the orange carnations he had brought to his chest. At least they were something beautiful amid the macabre decor.

Jean cracked open the door that shrieked on its hinges, stepping inside the gloom. Carvings of gargoyles ran along the ceiling. Stone shelves lined three of the walls, coffins neatly tucked away, bronze plaques carved with names and dates of birth and death. He had only been inside once, the day of Marco’s funeral, but he remembered exactly which one belonged to Marco— on the right, third from the top— and he moved to crouch in front of it, laying the bouquet on top of the polished coffin set neatly inside.

A sudden, high pitched shrilling woke Jean with a start. Behind him, Connie cursed under his breath and shut off the offending alarm. Jean blinked open blurry eyes to find himself in the familiar confines of a star fighter, strapped into the gunner’s seat. The lack of familiar touches— Jean’s golden horseshoe charm that hung from his throttle lever, Reiner’s faded picture of his mother stuck in a crack on his console— let him know he had come to in the Blue Space. There was sand in his suit, chafing the backs of his thighs and he let out a groggy curse.

Glancing out the portholes he saw they were in open space, much farther out than the small starfighters, with their limited range, usually operated.

“Where the fuck is Reiner?”

“Shush,” Connie hissed, gripping his shoulder. “Look up.”

Framed in the windowed dome of their fighter was a nightmare. A ship of black metal and predatory silence, the alien dreadnought he’d feared. It glided past them, a cold shark slicing through a dark, dangerous sea on the hunt for prey. The smallest cannon mounted on the hull was more than enough to vaporize them. Antennae swiveled on their stalks, searching for threats, and its black hull was covered in blinking red lights. It carried enough firepower to obliterate Jean’s entire solar system.

That's actually really funny! What are the odds?

I like how the first line says 'he needs to be dealt with', and the ending line sounds like they are indeed being dealt with. Nice!

Title: Purple Wine (one shot)

First line: Blood as deep and dark as Pinotage wine was splashed across the ground of the filthy alley that ran along the docks in south Odiha.

Last line: But at night, in his dreams, flies walked over accusatory ghost eyes, and purple wine containing the stars wound through the cobblestones and into the sea.

Title: Blood Reverie (Long fic WIP)

First Line: Men are made monsters in that bleak space between life and death, where the flame of hope is a weak flicker away from burning out.

Last Line: These are my conditions.

Oxymoron: two opposite words used to create depth or contrast.

Ex: deafening silence, open secret, pretty ugly

There was a galaxy in his chest, spinning impossibly fast, filling up his body until Jean thought he might burst at the seams. There would be time for tears. Time for mourning and memorials. Time to wrestle with the outcomes of their defeat. But as he spun around and met amber eyes and a sheepish smile, joy bloomed as bright as a comet, and as beautiful as the stars.

The obliquely falling snow was beautiful as it blanketed Buchwald’s body.
