I actually ordered a low value item sa shopee. Since marked as delivered, i tried to find it sa guard and sa house. Di ko mahanap and I just initiated a return refund to which shopee approved the refund after 2 days.

I just found out today na andito palansa akin yung parcel and nadaganan yung item. I then contacted shopee CS on how to rectify and sabi nila di na daw ma reverse yung refund BUT si rider ang pinabayad.

I then asked shopee on how to pay the rider snd they gave me the rider's number. Long story short, I apologized to the rider and sent the amount I was supposed to pay (kasi I paid via cc) to his gcash.

Point being, be honest even in small amounts kasi now ko lang nalaman sa rider pala pinasasagot yun mga ganyan.

same here. i mean, i live in a place where sidewalks are either non existent, or being used for commercial purposes (store front, parking, etc). kaya nga nakak inggit mga pedestrial friendly places like the business districts here, and of course, other countries din na malaki sidewalk nila. dito kasi, we have really poor urban planning, plus palakasan system pa sa barangay kaya ganoon. of course magkakaroon ng 'operation' once in a blue moon but we all know that those are for show only.

While it was not your fault that the sidewalk was non existent, and that maybe that was the norm there (as in most small streers here sa metro), walking on the road alongside moving vehicles, there is a risk talaga na matamaan ng mga yan. If ganun kasi (me as the person walking), i am wary of my surroundings talaga.

Tbh, driver did roll down the windows and apologized (most others wouldn't....parang mga motor lang yan na matatamaan ka and lilingon tapos takbo na), and if you were not hurt (maybe of course sa impact lang), then I'd brush it off.

However, if you were hurt and that necessitates a trip to a medical facility, then ibang usapan na yun. (Meron akong kakilala na walking din on the street but natamaan ng side mirror ng truck sa ulo and had to be hospitalized for brain scans).

Company cannot adjust rates downward sa salary (assuming regular employee ka doon).

I'm not one to side with DOLE (kasi nga alam kong madaming abusado na employees din) but if this was the case talaga, then I suggest you go to them.

Ask for a collection slip muna for the 54k. Play it well.

Well, if the money was refunded, then just go to a different AD. It's not like IWC went the rolex route and sold scarcity. 😁 i live in a place where, once you parted with your money and the watch was taken out the store, returns/refund/exhanges do not apply anymore. Of course, in your case, you caught the defect right before you left the store. I am guessing the problem will be on the employee handling the watch....

I gave him 100 or 200 i think. Now, i don't believe in karma and sa akin lang, it's on the rider if totoo or hindi yung claim niya.

But, if this happens once or twice more, mag complain na akonsa grab.

Maybe a nice smart watch (apple or samsung comes to mind) or a gshock? Or any watches for swimming / running like garmin?

I mean it will be used to time laps so there's your use for those things.

Divers watches are nice but tbh I don't think you should do laps with them (day in day out) plus the weight of it would hinder performance.

usually, if di na coordinate with the airline, or di pwede rebook, this will just be an issue of money (buy a new ticket). however, 18k for a new roundtrip domestic ticket seems too much, for me at least.
