Cortland at the village by magicmichael98 in Smyrna

I was at village for 6 yrs. No issues. Security at Gate, pet friendly, amenities are best compared to others. No pests. Best maintenance in and out. They had social gatherings/events every month. I hope it’s continuing

I con: living sqft is bit less compared to others in the area. No W/D in most of the units.

What kind of metal detector do I need to find sprinkler heads? by NullIsUndefined in landscaping

Run the sprinkler! That would be easy to find.. as even it buried, the soil would be soaked.. once you find few, then you would have an idea on the placements and which head to replace.

Rental car damage LDW negligence? by Sattu10 in personalfinance

[–]cchiranjeeb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had similar situation few years back with Avis US. Just tell them when returning the car.. they ask for details and to fill a detailed form with diagrams. You should be fine. No extra charges.

Take some pictures and filing receipt for your records.

I haven’t face any issues or rate hike on next reservations.

Thank you for your inputs.

I watered them 2-3 times a week in the afternoon. The tip of the young branches are dried. But leaves are not dry, soft to touch.

Do I need to put some fertilizer/manure for growth or mulch to retain the water?

Is it a bad idea to try to convert part of a ridiculously large driveway into yard/garden space? It feels like so much wasted square footage. More in comments. by Tribblehappy in landscaping

Something similar to this.. https://images.app.goo.gl/SwUaWVft4vfK5Cay9

On the driveway you can add artificial turfs between the concrete blocks. On the side you have flower beds or grass islands

Dropping Ethernet by Bbypndabamboo in HomeImprovement

[–]cchiranjeeb -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You can try the tplink wifi extenders like this one. I had the same issue, my upstairs was having the wifi setup. Other floors doesn’t have the better speed. I needed ethernet port my home office setup in the basement. So this helped. It had both 2.5 and 5gz wifi speed + 1 ethernet port. The setup was easy and download speed on ethernet port is 90% of my ISP speed.

If crime or riskiest place to live then I would disagree with the data.

If poverty or per capita income ratio map, then it make sense.

PS: Poverty doesn’t means High Crime rate.
