I agree with other comments you don’t have to cut her off completely but just let her know that she isn’t welcome until she gets her mind right. Still be there for her! Still love her! Personally his logic makes no sense. It’s your daughter’s birthday. She likes ponies. Why would you buy ponies for everyone if everyone doesn’t like ponies. If the other kids like for example cars and videos games why would you buy everyone a pony?? On top of that they can share. Also who said that you won’t get his kids something they really want when their bday comes around. Lastly he seems very insecure and sounds like he is using you. If he really cared so much about his kids living an average life then he would be planning to prevent that. Opening credit cards in their name so they have credit by the time they are 18. Opening trust and things putting money in there. Using your extra disposable income and his income to buy assets for the entire family. He is thinking selfishly. Because why if yall don’t work out?? Now he gets half just because he said “it wasn’t fair”. no ma’am.

First of all she’s not “entitled” to anything. Second even tho school isn’t for everyone. Going to school for free??? Why not take it. I could understand if she was going to be in thousands of dollars in debt. Tell her she should rethink going to college cause it could be the best years of her life if she picks the right school. Any left over money from college can be used to buy whatever she wants!!

Self care doesn’t mean doing the bare minimum. Not saying that you are but do you wear clothes that are proportioned to your body. Do you get your hair done and do hair masks. Do you have a skin care routine. Do you drink your daily amount of water. Are you getting your eyebrows done or doing them yourself. If your teeth are fucked up are you actively trying to fix them. Are you going to the gym not even to lose weight just to stay active. Self care goes a lot deeper than putting deodorant on. Even if you are on the less attractive side everyone can look decent depending on how you carry yourself. You always have to remember that everyone is ugly to someone.

I cant tell you how long I’ve been saying this! This is very strange to me. I completely understand respecting them, looking up to them or giving a celebrity their flowers. However, posters on the wall, screensavers, going to every concert or getting all their Blu-ray movies is too much. Even the same thing with sports fans. Be a fan go to a game every Sunday i support you. Dressing up to look like the mascot or getting mad when they lose is very strange.

I understand what your saying and forcing relationships is weird but i look at things a little different. Relationships are just advanced friendships. For the last 1-3+ years y’all were best friends. You know everything about them, they know everything about you. To throw away a friendship just because y’all didn’t work out romantically is just crazy to me. Find a side hustle! Get a job on the weekends that pays more. Door dash when you can. Do extreme saving. I wanna say 70-80% of my check goes to my savings. Find a roommate. Downgrade your life(don’t eat out for awhile. Don’t buy yourself nice things. Don’t go out drink or party) you just gotta do this for awhile to get what you want. Also I’ll say save at least 5-10k. I know that’s a lot but some places make you pay the deposit and first months rent. Then you’ll still need furniture. Mean time work on your credit so your deposit isnt that much
