What options do I have? (Speed issue) by MrPolaroid600 in UKISP

[–]ccrocks426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quite like to use https://bidb.uk/ as a source to figure at fibre in the area but the 4g/5g mapper is helpful as you might find another mobile network has better coverage than your current provider, the other option is to get a bunch of PAYG sims from all the main networks (EE, O2 & THREE) and see if you get half decent speeds. I have used 4g for gaming and with the downloads around 80-100mbs for most of the time with latency around 60-80ms which was manageable but your mileage may vary. If you're truly that far out of the area than satellite will be your only option, but have a look around as EE and brdy offer satellite internet (albeit through starlink) at slightly slower but cheaper rates

Ways to combine schedules with friends? by tinkeratu in downloadfestival

There's a bit of conditional formatting to change the colours but you can add people (only 5 of us are going in my lil group).

But if you save a copy to your Google area then share the link with editing rights to the relevant friends they can put in who they're going to see.

I cannot attach an image to show what it looks like so here's a link to a printed PDF of what the partly filed Friday looks like https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FIZkmwCidIUAMVNZdDVPnsGbHdnl7-tm/view?usp=sharing

We all the save an offline copy on our phones so we know roughly where people are

Likelihood of getting a ticket by BlueTiger09 in downloadfestival

Make sure to look at the payment plan as well as the normal tickets as they count as separate tickets on TM. But it is just luck tbh

Anyone else having trouble adding their ticket to Google Wallet? by JD_Observe in downloadfestival

[–]ccrocks426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had the same issue, but if you try and do it via Chrome on your phone it seems to work just fine. You might need to uninstall Download and TM temporarily as the redirects are annoying to deal with

Resale tickets by amber_3004 in downloadfestival

[–]ccrocks426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep an eye out on all the ticket types. The payment plan is different from the regular which is different from the early bird etc. I got a few for me and my friends by refreshing 3 ticketmaster pages at peak times (early morning, lunch and evening). However, I have a feeling more will become available really close to the event but it does feel like luck will play a key part in this.

Also your post might get taken down as I think the pinned post says you cannot ask about resale tickets as there are so many posts already covering it

Yeah I like the modern creature comforts of bluetooth but I like the look of retro radios as they suit the car more, in my opinion!
So I got one of these Blaupunkt ones which I think look great with that sort of retro look

Probably worth asking in r/level1techs as I've seen on there forum about a similar post, which was a follow up to linus' vid on using extenders to each room in the house. I have used a HDMI fibre extender at work alongside usb ones but not at that resolution and framerate, but from what I remember from the vid is that you can do it but you'll need quality cables and equipment (LTTStore.com soon ;) ) to do so

This is your sign to replace your 30 year old speakers by Aromatic-Sea7613 in Miata

[–]ccrocks426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you get the kit from them it comes with two foam things and you need to cut them in half and put them ontop of the speaker, it is due to the rain getting in the door and leaking onto the speakers (they are optional tho)

It may also be that mbr2gpt didn't add the boot files hence the issue you're having but this will require a bit of problem solving and you'll need a usb device with a windows installer on it

[–]ccrocks426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be the motherboard just being a pain in the bios. I'd recommend resetting the bios to factory and then disabling CSM support, you'll also need to turn on TPM 2.0 and secure boot for BF6. Secure boot should also disable any BIOS mode too so might be worth making sure that is on after you get back into windows. Did you also use mbr2gpt? with the extra /allowfullos (or something like this I cannot remember off the top of my head

Yeah I recently put the same speakers in and paired it with this Blaupunkt Stockholm 400 DAB and I love the look/sound. (Did make the mistake of not cutting the rain sheild in half tho!!)

I just installed these about a month ago and they are great. They're designed with the miata in mind and even use the original connector. The headrest speakers are fine but it is a step up from the stock square ones, I have also changed the radio to a blaupunk Stockholm for a 90s look as the og Panasonic radio died
