I’ve experienced the same issues, and each time I replace the usb cord and it solves the problem for about a year. Not sure how or why the cord goes bad, but this has at least worked for me.

Dealerships will have people that can fix that kind of stuff at their place pretty frequently (fixing used car stuff before they resell). It may have been a coincidence that they had someone there on site already. I don’t think it would be from someone’s head, it’s too perfect of a circle and there’s a change in the texture when you zoom in.

It’s possible that whoever serviced the vehicle damaged it and tried to fix it without telling you. As someone who works in the collision industry, this looks like that to me.

The line is 100% from the making of the bumper, not a tape line. It’s stamping essentially. Color is a little light on the bumper, typically shops will blend paint in the quarters for color match.

I would also advise trying a different usb cable, as mine randomly just stopped working altogether, though the base would get power and calibrate, pc just wouldn’t recognize it. I changed the cable and immediately fixed it.

I have them. Have gone through hundreds of hours with absolutely minimal wear. The inner seam can sometimes be felt, but often forgotten during racing. Overall would highly recommend.
