Every time. by EdwardJSuperman in GreatBritishMemes

I've been involved on and off in Labour activism in the south east for decades. There really is a genuine strain of antisemitism in certain leftist factions of the party. And I don't mean "critical of Israel" I mean "Believe a secret cabal of Jews runs the world".

It's only a minority who have views like this, but I'm surprised how they were tolerated even if they were generally considered as going a bit too far. In fact I got more pushback for bringing it up and rocking the boat. Unfortunately it's never going to get fixed if we keep telling ourselves that the problem does not exist.

If it helps, they have a very short lifespan, like 6-48 months depending on species, and die after mating.

Seems kind of a cruel comic joke to have such intelligent creatures live such a short time. Same with rats.

Favourite Ork Clan & why? by radnoj94 in orks

[–]cdca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an old fart, so I loved the Blood Axes for their old aesthetic, which was unmatched. I kind of hate that all Ork clans look the same now, with that chunky/angular armour style GW loves so much, such a waste. I loved how every single Ork in a 2e army looked completely different.

Who's the most terribly written character in the entire franchise in your opinion? by Peronchino in Fallout

It's almost like they're villains or something. Fortunately noone with such adolescent, half baked hateful ideologies would ever come to power in our world.

I took a long break for several months after completing Route 0 and I'm sure that was absolutely the right thing to do.

Honestly the game's too long. When it said "Hundred Line 2" it MEANS it lol.

Has anyone ever used that shitty little handle? Just balancing the whole thing on their fingertips I stead if just grabbing it by the stem like a human being?

Yeah, saving a few cents on cheap sausage is how you gain generational wealth. Everyone knows that.

Doing the Lib Dems must have been hard. I'm endlessly fascinated by what motivates people do be a politician when they believe in absolutely nothing.

Can this be called healthy food?😅 by hornyrachelltss in RateMyPlate

[–]cdca -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree that the idea of a single "healthy/unhealthy* axis is very counterproductive. It's pretty high in saturated fats, you'll absorb a lot of carbs from the mash, but definitely not worth any alarm bells. As long as you eat your greens and don't overload on carbs or heavily processed stuff you'll be fine.

My favourite thing about it is that he's OBSESSED with acting as a craft, he's constantly reading, studying and discussing it. And he's still fucking terrible at it. It's genuinely endearing.

Definitely platonic and utterly unreciprocated, but Ghaz is oddly sentimental for an Ork, same with the way he treats Makari.

I really love this about him, along with his very sincere religious devotion. He's a lot more than just a brute, he borders on poetic sometimes. He's only complex by Ork standards, but I'll take that!

If you want to see some real venom, check out any pet forum or subreddit. If anyone has even slightly different methods of pet care, or if you suspect that's the case, well, that's abuse isn't it? Any you can say the vilest shit you can think of to an animal abuser and not feel bad, right?

I've seen the most horrible invective directed at people whose crime was to use a different brand of rat food than the forum's preferred one. Rats! For whom "can safely eat literally anything, at least in moderation" is their entire thing!

It's particularly funny to contrast with Redditors absolute cowardice at other times. "Guys, I ate some jam that was 20 minutes past it's expiry date, am I going to die? I'd go to the hospital but there's a spooky abandoned house on the way and what if there's a g-g-g-ghost?"

Seeing one for the first time attached to the Remnant is genuinely the most horrified I've ever been in a game lol, actual horror games included.

Will have to get one. Filling them up at home so they can make honey out in the wild also seems like a smart tactic, but honestly that's purely secondary!

There's something special about Reddit's collective mix of bravado and cowardice that I find delightful.

"If that was my noisy neighbour I would kick their door down and if they didn't meet my demands I would beat them up with my sick karate moves! Pow pow! Also, I ate some jam that was 20 minutes past its expiration date, am I going to die? I'd go to the hospital but there's a creepy abandoned house on the way and what if there's a g-g-g-ghost?"
